Quality
I did receive it, but I have not used it. The quality looks very nice a little steep on the price, but I believe it will be worth it.

Great skillet. Huge skillet.
Good skillet. With my cast iron skillets I was having trouble maintaining oil temps when pan frying seafood. Either too hot or too cold so I thought I'd give an electric skillet a try. Thing works great. At 16" it is huge so be careful what size you order. I just about sent it back due to its size but I find with the larger space it's a lot easier flipping items et cetera. Good purchase.

Lots of Room!
Update w/ pictures Aug. 2024: This unit is vented on the bottom to help keep my quartz counter cooler, as the rim is 1" high with approx three-fourths-inch of air space between the vents and the heating coils -- the coils are fully encased and attached to the pan itself, not the rim, the coils are not exposed. The rubber feet add one-half-inch more of air space under the unit (the feet are screwed on, replaceable, and can't scratch the counter as they are counter-sunk). My quartz countertop, after several hours of simmering, will get warm to the touch, not hot. When quick cooking a stir fry, or getting a browning/sear on meats, those require higher temperatures, but for a much shorter time period. Even then, the quartz has never gotten too hot to touch.I love this pan. I don't see a negative for owning this 16" very heavy pan, but this is the most negative thing I could say: The cooking surface, the body, can be cleaned in the dishwasher, but it takes up a lot of space that is better utilized for washing all the mixing bowls, plates, cups and other gadgets I've used. So, I hand-wash it, lifting by both handles and setting it into the single basin sink to clean the bowl -- then turn it over in the sink to wash the bottom and side. Rinse the whole thing, and then clean the lid too, done.Bonus: The 16" lid is vented to let steam escape, preventing the water or other liquid from sputtering out the side. No problems with a messy counter.I use the temperature control just like I use the knobs on a gas or electric cooktop - I turn it up or down as needed -- but I'm getting better at judging where to set the temp for this pan. My cooking style is not to use more heat or fat than necessary to get the job done. I've used for semi-fried/poached eggs, adding boiling water after eggs have set their "fried" edges -- and omeletes, steaming veggies, stir fry, browning, and my favorite, saute. Good for 1 pot meals, long simmers or quick a quick fry.For instance, a simmering dish: I pre-heated to 375, added chicken pieces for browning, turned the heat down to around 300 to 350 to finish browning - adding the garlic and other ingredients last, and then set for a saucy simmer (gravy lover here) until fork tender. The temperature control cycles on and off during during a simmer, which I set at *just under* 250 on the dial.Per the manual, you can pan-fry food in up to 1 cup of oil -- and it does a great job when done right. Also, per the manual "This unit is not designed to deep fry" -- so the doughnut video and other pics showing enough oil to float the food may not conform to the proper use of this pan. The Tips and Hints section is helpful. In the back there are a few recipes to try also.

Works great but
I love the looks of this stainless steel electric fry pan. You can serve from it right on the table because it's so beautiful. The only complaint and it was in other reviews I read before purchasing. The electric plug in to the pan is very loose. It's easily knocked out of the pan. You have to be careful of that problem. It's not a tight fit. However, with that in mind, I have recommend it.

Great pan
This is a great electric skillet. Works well, easy to clean, and no non-stick coating that always smelled funny in my old pan. Couldn't be more pleased.

Works great and good size
Good skillet and a good size. I had to replace my old one as it only heated on one side. This one cooks evenly and is much deeper that my previous one so I can not only make things like pancakes but it is deep enough to cook much larger quantities of food like stew or spaghetti sauce.

Works great
Use in my semi truck quite often. Works great, easy to clean. Does what it's intended to do.

Disappointed
Really wanted to love this skillet. Plugged it in and it would only get to around 135F, even when set to 350F-400F. Returning.Update: Even though the pan did not work, the company was good to work with. The return / refund went very smoothly.
