I'm very picky about chocolate chips and I baked chocolate chip cookies every week and use chocolate chips for lots of other things including candy making, I generally get the ones from Aldi because they're really good also. I totally avoid Nestle and I do buy Ghirardelli on occasion when they're on sale. I would say these are a higher quality than Nestle for sure and along the same pairing as all the and almost like ghirardelli. I highly recommend them, they bake well and they melt well for candy making. I don't have any complaints about them other than they taste really good by themselves too, so sometimes they end up snacking on them LOL, just give me a shot glass of some chocolate chips and I'm a happy girl!

I was pleasently surprised with these! They are the closest thing so far that ive found comparable to hersheys special dark chocolate chips. They are a little sweeter, but not much. Hersheys special dark are pretty sweet for dark chocolate. Lately there has been a supply issue which makes them hard to find. I also like the calorie content of these, it is impressive. They are a very good medium between dark and milk chocolate in terms of flavor and sweetness. They are very good as a yogurt or icecream topper!

These are just as good as other chocolate chips...they have a good chocolate taste and melt wonerfully...a bargain at this price

Taste is fine, but eeehhh…for one thing, as other customers have mentioned, these do not melt well. And there has been a greyish bloom on those I purchased. Seems like at such a good price, they would not sit around long enough for bloom to develop, but instead fly off the shelves faster than suppliers could keep up with. I am very choosy about chocolate anything. As I said, these are OK but my chocky-sense is nudging me to switch back to my former (slightly higher priced) brand which was superb quality, no issues there. I guess it’s true you get what you pay for.

I was surprised to see that these were on sale and cheaper than the Hirschy namebrand equivalent. Overall, I am impressed that the quality of chocolate that’s used. You can’t tell the difference between this and other name brands on the store shelf. If you have an Amazon fresh near you, I definitely would grab these when they are on sale or if they’re on sale online, you can’t go wrong.

Best deal for the price ever

Good price. There are times when I get hungry for chocolate. I don’t keep chocolate bars in the house. This is where the chips come in. A few of these, melting in my mouth takes care of that craving. The chips melt readily.

Older chocolate. The chocolate chips have the white stuff on them like when chocolate is too old.
