Very slippery mat, even after rubbing salt twice, a little sweat and I slide like on an ice rink.

Pro:-produced in Europe- lifetime-guarantee- sealed surface (from hygienic standpoints many mats are a breeding ground for bacteria!)- provides noticeably more cushioning than 1,5mm travel mats which I also tried out- it folds up nicely and therefore supplements my thick and heavy Manduka Pro mat which I use for practice at home.-not much heavier than a 1,5mm matCons:-only thing really is Grip is only mediocre for me (80kg male) when I sweat, It is not bad at all but not as grippy as the grippiest mats I have tried (When I am sweating more or feeling slight slipping in Down Dog I just use my Yoga towel on top to solve that issue)-after being folded it takes a while for it to be completely unwrinkled again, not sure but this might be normal

I bought a Manduka Pro Travel mat and returned it within a week because there was no grip between the mat and carpet. The manufacturer's description states that the "Proprietary dot-patterned bottom grips to the floor to stay put on any on any surface". The video shows the lack of grip on carpet. I followed the breaking-in instructions and salted the mat thoroughly for 24 hours then washed it, as outlined in the 'breaking-it-in' care instructions. I did this three times and there was still no grip between the mat and carpet. I bought this mat for travel and many/most hotel rooms are carpeted. I did not feel safe when the mat was slipping, sliding and crumpling on the carpet.
