I absolutely love this textbook and happy I purchased this. It goes through each section of the NHA Exam. Plus has practice tests in the back. Each test with different questions. It really helped me prepare for my NHA Exam. There is also the answer key that explains why certain answers are correct or incorrect.What I really enjoyed is the sections on the different tubes, their fill levels, and what is contained in each tube. The other section being the different Blood Groups such as the ABO Group and Rhesis Blood Group. It makes explaining blood and how it's affected very interesting.This book makes it known of the many complications that come with working in Phlebotomy. Also explaining the proper steps in preventing errors in the laboratory.If you need a textbook to prepare for your CPT1 NHA Exam this book will definitely help you.

I have been very impressed by the various study guide books from this company and have decided to get more to help round out my collection. They have proven invaluable to my exam proctoring and scoring. In addition, my kids now have additional info to help them as they explore career options. This, along with a few others, are being used to help decide if a future in phlebotomy is in store. Great information, tons of practice questions, and thoroughly explained rationals make for an easy to understand guide to help with future exams.

i teach phlebotomy, so I know. If you can do the test questions in this book, you can pass the exam readily. I did not find the exam difficult, but it has been a lot of years, so perhaps it is no longer so easy. If my students can do these questions, they can pass the national certifying exam.

This is a Phlebotomist Bible! Goes into important details. Is helping me learn more in depth. Practice quizzes are very helpful too.

This book will over prepare you which is great! There is no such thing as too much knowledge. 10/10 would recommend.

When I was studying for my NREMT, I used a review book like this and it was the best study source, so I thought that was gonna happen again for me for my NHA CPT exam. Wrong.This review book is in depth, but it is not accurate to NHA standards, has a lot of typos, and has some material that is completely wrong. For example, this book says you do a heel stick up to 6 months of age, but NHA says you do it up till 1 year of age or until the pt starts walking. This book says type AB blood does not have any antigens on the surface of the red blood cells, but that is literally what classifies it as AB blood. Even the practice test questions have mistakes.If you are able to, I would purchase the study guide and practice test bundle offered on the NHA website. That was GOLDEN. I passed my exam and that is what I give credit to.
