Convenient
No more spool hassle of too tight, too loose, wrong direction wrapped, etc. Drops right in, lasts a long time. I find that, instead of bumping the head to feed string, if you hold the head on a hard surface while spinning, it'll feed the line with less hassle.

Just what I needed for our EGO trimmer. There are a few different ones so make sure what size you need. Works like it's supposed to and fits perfect. The size was hard to find in stores so glad we could purchase it here.

Not easy to find
Can’t find these in store anymore. We bought the first ego edger and then they came out with another one with a self winding spool. Next thing you know the self winding spook are all you can find in store.

Ego trimmer line spool
Item came all unwound in shipping so I’m not happy about that fit it is correct spool for my original ego trimmer.Kind of an antique now and hard to find.Ok but probably won’t get another from this company next time.
