Nice rack mount option
I needed a power strip for my new 15U server rack and preferred a rack mountable one. At first I bought a competitor's strip but ended up returning it since it ended up not being UL approved. I feel more comfortable with electrical devices that are UL approved being in my house. It has worked well so far. Plugged it into my UPS and mounted it to the back of my rack to keep the power cords out of sight. It provides plenty of outlets for my various devices. It can be a bit hard to get the plugs pushed into the outlets, though. I guess I'd rather have that than them being loose, but that can be an issue if you've got tight space to deal with. The orientation of the outlets is perfect for wall warts, as they don't end up blocking any neighboring outlets when plugged into the strip. I have quite a few devices with wall warts, so that feature is a necessity. The 15ft long cord was way overkill for my needs, but I can see that being handy for some people. Construction is pretty heavy duty.

Excelente

Flexible mounting
Lots of plugs front and back and the switch controls all the plugs. Can be mounted a few different ways as the brackets can be installed a few ways.

More outlets than stated in the description!
The description for this item is incorrect, but in a good way. This actually has 14 outlets, not 12 as indicated in the description. Six on the front and eight on the back. The outlets on the back are in pairs with perhaps an inch and a half or less between each pair. On the front it varies between 1/4" and 1/2" between the plugs. All metal case. Heavy and very solidly built, which is what I'd expect from Tripp Lite.Outlets are snug so even heavy wall warts stay in place.Note that this PDU has surge suppression built in which you'd want to avoid if you're planning to plug it into a UPS that also has surge suppression.
