Q: What does it mean "Not designed for index tabs or sheet protectors"?

The description reads that this is a zipper binder - I would guess that is why they state that it can’t be used with tabs. I use index tabs in my binder.

Q: what is the sheet size this is for?

I see different answers, this a 5'x8", or an 8.5"x11" (letter paper size)? Why does the listing have both, but it appears I'd be ordering the 5x8. I need the 8.5x11.

Q: Could you flip the cover all the way over on itself like you can a spiral?

I guess you could train the binder to do that, but it certainly would never lay as flat as a regular spiral item. The leather or leather like cover is a little thick for that. This is a loose page binder. Hope that helps

Q: What hole punch will give the right holes to fit this?

You can buy lined paper for them. I bought am adjustable hole punch, I just leave it set for this size.
