I always need extra wasabi on sushi. I buy sushi tray from ITSU as only one tiny pack comes with it I brought this pack of sauce and paste. Fantastic and yummy.

I don't only use it for sushi,but on sausages,in meat sandwiches makes it very spicy 👍

I gather that most wasabi paste sold in the U.K. is not actually wasabi, but horseradish. This product has only a small amount of wasabi, hence the four stars - might be unfair if this is the status quo, but I don’t understand why products get called something they are nit.In any case, it’s delicious. I love horseradish, no matter what you call it. And I love wasabi (or what I thought was wasabi, but which people are now telling me is mainly horseradish). Nice peppery bite, tastes great particularly with seafood and vegetables. I’d never tried a wasabi sauce before, and this one is great - I like it much better than eg Tabasco (the bottle seems to have a Tabasco bottle vibe to it)Yummy stuff!

I can only review the wasabi paste as my order arrived missing the sauce. Most of the supermarket wasabi pastes I have seen have a disappointingly small amount of wasabi in them, sometimes up to 5%. This product does have the benefit of being made with 15% wasabi. Like most of these pastes, the primary ingredient is horseradish, so if you have not tried wasabi before and wonder what it tastes like, it is very much like horseradish with a slightly seaweedy edge.This particular paste is well made and has a pungent wasabi kick. It is decent quality, to be fair it's quite difficult to compare to other pastes as the kick of heat is similar whether you're getting a cheaper or more expensive brand, but I found this to be an ideal accompaniment to sushi.

Goes amazingly with belly pork but can be eaten with almost anything, from a whacky addition to a cheese cracker to an ingredient when stewing up a meal! This wasabi paste and sauce is even more awesome because it actually contains real Wasabi, real Wasabi is hard to find and very expensive. In fact, i've always loved wasabi only i've never tasted REAL wasabi because all the wasabi i've had previously has just been made to replicate the taste. Well this paste and sauce that actually has a bit of real wasabi in it blew my taste buds away! Will wake up the taste buds of anyone! Absolutely divine!
