Fixed RF268ABPN 5 Light Issue
Found a YouTube video about this possible fix for the compressor not starting. Gave it a try instead of buying a new fridge. Perfect fit and worked fine. Remember to restart the software by holding down Energy Saver and Alarm buttons together for 10 secs. Unplugging the fridge for 5-10 mins to perform the repair did not reset it for me.

Worked great.
I was concerned that this would not work on my RFG297A. But after reading reviews I took the chance. The unit fit right in and the compressor fired right up. I had 5 blinking lights and what I could find said replace the invert board.

Model fridge RFG297AABP IT WORKED!!!
I watched a video about replacing the board. Simple. Even if your model fridge is not exact to any listed it’s worth the try. It worked for myRFG297AABP Model. Took 5 mins to install. Save me thousands of dollars on new fridge. Just look at your inverter board on the back and if it’s blinking 5 times this replacement part will more than likely fix it. Also the fridge had an 8888 error code which was easily reset by holding the top two buttons on either side on the front of the fridge. Worked for me and should work for you if you happen to have no cooling.

I also had an issue with an older Samsung fridge that called for an older part number for the inverter control board (RFG297AARS model fridge). Since I couldn’t find the right part due to it being discontinued, I decided to take a gamble on this one given the reviews that said it would work. And it did! Plugged it in and the compressor fired right up! Happy with my purchase so far, saved me from having to buy a new fridge.

Easy to Install - Fixed my Fridge
My Samsung fridge (RF268ACRS/XAA) stopped cooling down (both fridge and freezer). I did some minor troubleshooting until I narrowed the issue down to the inverter board. This part was recommended (by strangers online) to replace my malfunctioning device. Installation was simple, and took 2-3 min. The fridge immediately started cooling down after plugging everything back in.Repair company wanted to charge an $80 service fee to just come and diagnose the issue. For the same price, I did some research online and installed this part myself.

Received an used item
Box was not sealed and the board looked like a used one. Capacitor end caps look dirty and did not look new. I send it back.
