This is a great sounding speaker. I replace my 6 1/2 inch door component speakers with these. Very clear and loud. Great price.

Had a blast fitting these in some old Sony 4033's that had the perimeter foam cone attachment blown away, they get aged after 20 - 30 years real badly. Instead of just replacing foam I popped these li'l bad boys in and lol.. well 2x as much power so I put in bigger amp and man, it was noticeable. Very crisp woofer replacement, not quite as low as the Sony OG but still dang good and better on high's mids as well as waaay louder (well 2x the RMS rating and much better quality all the way through, huge magnet etc... very tight!)Just love the result, stave off upgrading the whole system for now my Frankenstein surround on the Yacht is better than some pretty decent systems stock...

Only four because I have yet to hook them up, but I'll give a four star rating because of the ease of replacing them. Old cabinets were Marantz, very old. I bought these and all I had to do was remove the screws and hook up the speakers. Same exact size, and the screw holes lined up perfectly. It took longer to go get the screwdriver than to replace. Would definitely buy from again! I'll update this if I can once I hear them.

I used this in a low power guitar modeling amp. I previously had an Eminence ALPHA-8A mid midrange loudspeaker in the amp and it sounded phenomenal. The ALPHA was donated to a different amp and I re-installed the factory speaker.I was not happy with the factory speaker so I was going to buy another ALPHA, but figured I might as well try a different midrange loudspeaker to see if there was a cheaper way to improve the sound.This speaker had great highs and mids, but touching the low E string caused a hum that made everything sound horrible. The low E is approximately 82.41 Hz. If I muted the low E it sounded good.It may have worked if I setup a high pass filter and tuned it correctly.In a 3-way configuration with the correct filtering this would be a good speaker. Just be warned the usable frequency range of this speaker is limited.

The media could not be loaded. To be that “small” they’re really loud and I’m not even applying full load to them. I will be buying more from SKAR AUDIO, everything is affordable and high quality.
