All the smelly goodness (says cats)
Nice strong smell (as expected if you have ever smelled tripe, lol). Two of my three cats LOVE this stuff. Because it’s so smelly, they immediately know when it’s out. Makes a good treat for scent work for them.

The best raw food for my cats
Huge winner for all three cats. I like to hydrate it before serving. I use beef green tripe with green mussels as a topper or treat. It's hard to find something that please all three cats. This is it. It is soft enough for an older cat to eat or it can be hydrated a little bit, or you can crumble it up and use as a topper on their food. I only feed my cats raw. People think that it is too expensive to feed raw but, they eat less because they get ALL the nutrients they need from a raw diet.

Good for non-picky cats!
Same of my cats don't want them but some do. Especially my hungry hippo of a cat loves them! Maybe the others aren't used to something fancy like venison. They're a little hard but easy to break which I find good. Some pieces are thin making them easy to break.Pretty expensive since it came with a little amount but it's deer so I guess that makes sense

Cats love it.
My cats love these as a food topper. They have a warning on the bag about the smell and they were not kidding! They do smell very strong so I make sure to wash my hands well after handling them. I'm glad to be able to find healthy, reasonably priced treats for them.

Incredibly hard
These treats are so hard they are inedible. I have trouble even breaking them apart with my hands. One got stuck on my cat’s tooth and I had to intervene, now I fear it’s a choking risk. I’ve tried rehydrating them which does not work well.

Great product, until they changed the formula......
My cat loved these lamb trip treats. She loved the stinky smell and flavor; she'd eat the whole bag if I fed it to her. However, the product has changed in the past couple of months. It used to have a very strong odor and the pieces were soft enough that you could squeeze them with ease. Unfortunately, I've purchased this product from multiple sources in the past couple of months with different expiration dates of 2025/2026 and they all turned out to be consistent therefore I came to the conclusion that the product has drastically changed as it’s very dry now, hard to the point that you can’t no longer squeeze the pieces and the smell is different and less strong. My cat gets excited when she sees the bag but when I feed it to her, she immediately walks away after smelling it, which is sad for me because this is the only treat, she would eat out of dozens of others types of treats I’ve bought for her in the past. I wish they would've left the product the way it was, that's a shame.......

My cat loves it.
I experimented with a different brand of green mussel, only to find sharp seashell fragments in some of them, which was quite disappointing. Unsure if it was merely a stroke of bad luck, I switched to feeding my cat powdered green mussel instead. And my cat has since refused to consume it. But with this particular green mussel product, I haven't come across any seashell fragments, so I give it a five-star rating.

Strong smell, varied reviews from the cats
okay I had no idea that these were actual whole mussels. one of my cats loved it, the other was disgusted as was i. if you are sensitive to fishy smells avoid!! but it is great in terms of health benefits so it truly depends on the cat.
