Keeper.
I was recently in Kyoto and enjoyed this kettle in my hotel room so much that I wanted one for myself. It’s made in Japan so I went to a store to buy it. Then I realized that I’d have no recourse if I was unsatisfied, as I was heading back home to the US.Good old Amazon comes to the rescue again. Of course they have it.It’s well-made and arrived ahead of schedule. The plug is not polarized but I am having no problems with its functioning.I love this kettle and use it every day. Easy to clean and a nice looking item on my kitchen counter.

Great kettle
This is my 3rd Russell Hobbs in 25 years. I use it everyday multiple times for tea and coffee, and it works great. The most recent one is smaller with a slimmer spout. This is an improvement for my pour over coffee.

Best electric kettles
Love Russel Hobbs kettles. This style is so pretty, heats up fast, so simple to use, it's great for 2 to 3 mug style cups. If you use tea cups it would fill 4.Great purchase I've owed 3 over 20 years 2 are still working. Clean with rock salt and water it'll clean the calcium from hard water.Enjoy

My only complaint I didn't realize it how small it was.

So disappointed
The price is so high. My brother in law had a different model and the price was only about half what I paid. It holds less than half the water that his holds. The use pamphlet is either in Japanese or Chinese. I was going to return it but forgot about it. Now I’m stuck with a kettle that I can’t get an English use pamphlet for and can’t warranty it either. Foolish foolish foolish purchase. I’m disappointed in Amazon selling something so expensive for what it is that has no English instruction and use pamphlet and no way to warranty it.

Looks great , heats quickly
expensive sure , but no other kettle looks like that - and it does heat up VERY quickly … purchased to replaced our Hario that stopped working -the wife is pleased …
