One reviewer said he bought this and it had no wire in the armor. I don't know about that. Perhaps he purchased a different product. This is 14/2 copper wire enclosed in aluminum armor. This worked perfectly for me. If you have no experience with this type of cable, you should be aware that working with this is different from standard insulated cable. The aluminum must be cut relatively cleanly and (idealy) plastic inserts used to protect the wire from the cut aluminum edges. This is the correct method for this cable. Do it right and you will be very happy with this. I was.
