Cool light! So when I go camping I usually order myself a pack of 100 glow sticks. You know, the bracelet ones with the connectors so you can make necklaces and connect whatever colors together? Yeah. So I’ll crack a bunch of those and hang them all over camp, on tree limbs, giant boulders, car side mirror, the dog. Why? Because it’s FUN. So I saw this light and was like Yeah this is right up my alley.It’s the width of a shoelace, the round ones (as opposed to flat). And for the haters, correct it is not something to read by - do you use a glow stick to read? No. You don’t. Thing is, glow sticks are actually quite bright in the pitch black of night. Ever try to sleep with 17 of them hanging on everything in the tent? Anyway, consider this along the lines of glow stick fun and you won’t be disappointed. They need more colors. Now I won’t be wasting plastic when the crack sticks die.

I like the light, but I'm going to have to get move if I want any real brightness. Inside a tent I can see them working really well. Small enclosed space where the light can reflect back on itself. But out in the open not so much, until you use them as a marker of some kind. The one thing I don't like is the on/off button. It's so flush to the handle, unless you're used to it. It'll hard to find. Let alone in the dark.

So dim it went right into the trash can. A phone screen set to 1% is brighter. Doesn't use USB C either

I love Nite Ize. This is a mediocre product. The light doesn't travel well when the rope goes in tight circles.

I bought this light for tailgating and car camping and it does not disappoint. I'm thinking of getting more of these for a tent as well. They're easy to charge and lightweight and don't take up a lot of space and the built-in twist ties make them easy to install anywhere.

Don't expect to be very bright and you won't be disappointed

These lights look much brighter in the photo when in reality they’re not bright at all. Much better string lights are out there for even cheaper. Night Ize usually makes much better quality items but not this time.
