Chewy and Louie enthusiastically approve of TOTW!
We have two sweet little dogs, a Maltese/Chihuahua mix, and a Chiweenie. They are 21 months and almost a year old, are a little picky and both had signs of allergies. Chewy, (the Maltese mix), had itchy ears and frequent ear infections. Louie had itchy skin, chewed his paws, and scratched a lot. We have always fed them good quality food, but wondered if totally grain free diet would make a difference. We ordered a bag of the TOTW Waterfowl, and they loved it. So we then ordered the Bison and the Wild Boar varieties and they loved those, too. Tried the Venison, but they didn't care much for that one. We rotate the flavors every three days or so to give them variety. (5 lb bags so they are easy to store in a container). They LOVE it! Sometimes we give them a can of the wet food mixed in for a Sunday meal treat. And best of all, no more ear infections and no more itchy puppies. Their coats are shiny and they are bright-eyed, active and best of all, healthy and happy. This is a great line of dog food. Chewy and Louie give it an enthusiastic four paws up!

Dog is obsessed
My mini husky is the pickiest eater. I've tried at least 5 different wet and dry foods that she will let sit for longer than a day before she gets hungry enough to eat it and I usually have to mix in a heavy amount of wet to get her to eat the dry... but she DEVOURS her dry TOTW and licks the bowl for about 10 minutes after its gone. The Wetlands (wild duck) is her favorite and the kibble size is perfect for her. I rarely add TOTW wet food now and use it just as a treat. I have not had any consistency problems since we've been ordering. I'm so happy I've found something that she enjoys and is incredibly healthy for her. Totally worth the extra you pay for this dog food. Loyal customer for life.

my dogs love it
I was already using a high end food. However, I have one finicky dog. I know to slowly mix two foods, old and new, when introducing a new food. FORGET IT! They love this and it DID NOT cause intestinal problems. My finicky one is also my "sickly" one and she has anxiety which shows up by way of her intestines. She DID NOT have a problem with this. They're coats are easier to comb through. ( I know sounds crazy doesn't it?) They're very playful, active and alert. I have tried all 4 of the Taste of Wild Dry Dog Food's. I will suggest that you try buying the small, 5lb, bags of each before buying the larger bag. Your dog may like one over the others. OR he/she may like 2 or more. Mine do. So, I just switch up the "flavor" now and then.IF you're buying high end dog food then you need to try this. I used Canidae first.

Dogs gone wild!
This food is amazing - Thank you Taste of the Wild for making a product that is healthy and nutritious as well as affordable!!My little knuckleheads are awesome - I want to take care of them and enhance their quality of life to the best of my ability -Their vet recommended this brand - it is good quality and approved for even my Affenpinscher's dietary allergies -Both dogs are now about 18- 20 LBS -I get them the Wetlands, High Prairie and the Wild Pacific dry flavors - They love all of them - sometimes I mix them all up together - they go wild... have noticed that the kibble seems smaller in the high prairie than the wild pacific -Both of their coats are super shiny and they seem full of energy - They do eat every drop of kibble so I have to be mindful with overfeeding...

my dog loves it.
great calorie per kilogram ratio. dog gobbles it up. no side effects, allergies or loose stools. dog doesn't get tired of it either, but I like to switch it up a bit with different brands. I've tried a few different varieties of this brand and they all seem to be about the same. the kibble size is small enough (pretty small) for my lap dog. ( i have an 11lb dachshund that is a year and a half old.)

does the trick
My poor dog has terrible allergies, and although the allergists give you a list of the foods your dog CAN eat, they don't tell you what they SHOULD eat. I've learned more about dog food than I ever cared to know, before coming to Taste of the Wild, and I'm glad I found this company & this product. It was worth the trouble! Shop around, though, I found Amazon had the best pricing (locally - well, I just couldn't have afforded it!)Did I mention my dog dances in circles and inhales it when it's mealtime? Makes you feel great knowing you make them so happy and it's really good for them as well.

Best Shiba Inu food
The only kibble that won't give my very pretentious Shiba Inu skin allergies. And he loves the taste.

My picky shih tzu loves it
A great dog food at a great price... my picky shih tzu will eat this. I feed him homemade food daily but this is available for him to munch on in between meals, and he actually eats it! He doesn't have the strongest jaws so I guess the food isn't too hard for him to chew. My vet likes that I use this to supplement his homemade meals to make sure he gets all the vitamins and things from prepared dog food.
