Lightweight, convenient port adapter. 4k not working on MacOS Monterey for me
This was purchased as a port adapter for an M1 Macbook Pro. It works well for 1080p graphics, all the ports seem to work ok, but I am unable to make the Macbook recognise a 4k screen through the adapter (the same screen when connected directly into the HDMI port on the same laptop works at a full 4k without issue). Overall, useful and works well for connecting to projectors etc which was its intended purpose for me.

Stopped working after a year
I don't normally write reviews but its frustrating that this stopped working after a year but maybe that's how long they last, and it was cheap.

Didn’t work on anything
Was bought to use my IMAC as a display didn’t connect didn’t work used it with my MacBook and also didn’t work there was no signal and nothing was recognised , the USB-C , the USB and the HDMI were all not working very disappointed

worth the buy if you need it
I use to spend almost £70 on apple's version of the same thing just for my mac book and it got lost so always needed a replacement and was reluctant to buy another one worth £70. Since apple realised that they needed to open up their software for compatibility its easier to buy these things at a more reasonable price. This adapter works exactly the same as the apple branded one so worth the buy if you need it.
