Best way to clean
I use these as a fish aquarium filter in a sump tank for a 55gal. Love how quickly they catch all the debris and the tank is crystal clear in no time. Best way to clean it I've found is to flip it inside out and hit it from the inside with high pressure water, normally from a garden hose.

Nice replacement sock filter. Like to rotate through 8 to 12 filters, washing and air dry. Does what it's supposed to and cheaper than local pet storr

Wish type filter socks
Wish type meaning I wish I had read more reviews… you get what you pay for and this is a perfect example of that. These are made out of some sort of flimsy felt they’re even not sewn. They are the correct size but these are going back. This is not what I was looking for, pure junk.
