Sleek, Easy to Store, VERY useful!
This is the second Kenu Tripod stand I've purchased. I loved the first one and this one is improved. The portion of the stand that inserts into your phone now is plastic-covered metal. Much sturdier. The all-plastic insert was the part that broke on my old tripod. The sleek stainless steel design pivots into a tight flat shape for storage.I read e-books on my I-phone. The tripod holds the phone either vertically or horizontally. The vertical tilt is adjustable. I'm an artist and the tripod is great to hold my phone up to see images when I'm away from my studio as well.Con: The new insert portion doesn't fit as snugly as before and slips out easily. Not to the point I don't still really like the product, however.

Nice portable tripod
My tripod works fabulously and supports my phone while it is in its case. That being said my case is acrylic and light weight. I can see how a very heavy case would tip it over, but my phone was stable. I had no concerns of my phone falling over. The tripod is approximately the size of a pack of gum. It also has a bottle opener. I will be carrying this tripod in my purse everywhere I go.

Great multi-use tool - solid construction
This little gadget turned out to be way more useful than I had anticipated. I originally purchased this thinking I'd use it for photography for some creative shots, or possible long exposures with the Lightroom camera, but it's turned out to be a great stand, bottle opener, and just cool little gadget to fidget with. For the price, I didn't think the quality of the metal would be this good. The edges aren't rough, it doesn't scuff or scratch too much, and it surprisingly did an amazing job balancing my pretty sizy Nexus 6P. I read about complaints about the plastic giving out, and while there is a little bit of play once it's in the connector port (I have the USB-C version), the actually ball joint is very stiff and stable. My friend has the Apple version, and surprisingly that one fit like a glove. There was practically no movement in the connection. It's still great in the USB-C version, but it did feel much better in Apple's lighting connector version. So in conclusion, the metal is great, but the plastic in the USB-C version is a little finicky, and I suspect with time, it may become loose. But mine is still going strong after 1 year!Ergonomically this gadget works wonders. I often use it as a stand for my phone at work, and sometimes when I'm sitting and trying to watch a video, I'll place it in the horizontal tilt mode so I don't have to the phone in my hand. I absolutely love this setup because the 6P has forward facing speakers, and tripod provides the perfect tilt angle all without having to hold it at all. Furthermore, there is a small key chain mounting whole in the base so you can attach this to your key chain.Lastly, if you're one of those people that constantly needs to do something with their hands, this is a nice key chain addition that will keep you occupied in addition to being useful.I did read some comments about this not being compatible with cases, and I agree, the clearance is very small. I've never used a case so it doesn't matter to me, but I know many people do so that might be a legitimate concern. I can't confirm the problem because I don't have any cases, but be aware of this. You might have to take your case off if you want to use the tripod.

Neat little gadget! Hope it holds up.
Keep it on my keychain. There when I need it.Doesn’t feel very durable, but only time and usage will tell. Impressed by the design and size.

You get what you pay for
I bought this product in August. And like a lot of people have mentioned, one leg was really loose when it arrived. But I thought it was just my particular item. The screw eventually fell out of the loose leg. My local Ace Hardware was able to insert a different screw, but it wasn't a perfect match. Finally lost that screw as well so I'm back here about to buy this again. I love the functionality of the stand. It's compact enough to fit in my pocket so I always keep it with me. I primarily use to hold the phone horizontally when I'm streaming videos and it works great. Don't think I've tried to use it where the phone is vertical and sits on top. It doesn't cost too much for the use I got out of it, so I don't mind buying another one -- at least this time. And going by other comments, I don't have too much hope that the next one I buy will be any sturdier. But, this will be my last time buying this, regardless of cost.

Rare 5-star review
...rare for me anyway.A tripod is one piece of photographic equipment that is indispensable if you want to get the sharpest shots you can. Bendy, springy legs serve only to transmit vibrations - not too much trouble on wide angle lenses and higher speeds, but if you want to get in the shot, have sharper fine detail, or shoot video (particularly time-lapse) you really need a solid tripod - and that means solid legs.If you've heard the phrase "The best camera is the one you have with you" - then you'll understand the same goes for tripods. This one has solid, stable legs and is something that I can (and do) carry every day - and have for the last few years. I just bought this one as a replacement after the rubber caps on the the legs began to show their age and tear.In fact, I bought two - to make sure I will have one a few years from now if needed. For less than $10, there's no way you can go wrong. Stick it in your pocket every day - you'll be amazed how often you'll find yourself reaching for it!. (One note: forget attaching it to keys - that's a pain in the...hand...when you want to use it).

I love it
I put this on my key chain and it’s to easy to use. No need to ask strangers to take our picture. I jus set it up, put the timer or use my apple watch to snap a picture. No need of bulky tripod jus buy this!
