Very useful non-contact IR thermometer
I used this infra-red thermometer to measure the heat absorptivity of objects. I went to a particular garden and wanted to compare the surface temperatures of - mud grounds, EPDM rubber on concrete & grassy grounds. The temperature was measured when all the objects were adjacent to each other with respect to the sun's rays. I tested the device on ice to see if there is a temperature difference and it gave good results with a +- error of 2-3°C. I could see the temperature changing while moving the thermometer to another object, so yes, just go for it! Great product! This product is very useful! And plus they did not use unnecessary packaging to ship the order which I'm very happy about. I like when the product is delivered bare without unnecessary packaging that increases trash in the landfills

I am extremely disappointed with this thermometer. It failed to provide accurate readings right from the start. I followed all the instructions carefully, but the temperature readings were inconsistent and kept fluctuating by several degrees each time I took a reading.It takes forever to get a result, and the device doesn't seem reliable when you need it most. I tried using it multiple times, but every reading appears wrong. The build quality also feels cheap, and it doesn’t seem durable at all. For the price, I expected much better performance.Not a product I would recommend. Waste of money!
