Q: ?what size does extra large compare to....14 , 16

I purchased these pants for my 7 yr old grandson that has a stocky build right now, which fit him fine around the waist but about 6 inches to long, hemed them up and will let the length down once he starts his growth spurt just like his older brother had. Nice sweatpant set and the elastic waist band can be tightened or loosened up, so I personally feel, it's a good 14/16 fit.

Q: Do they fit slim size boys?

There is a drawstring at the waist that can be cinched up for slim boys. I bought these for my twin grandsons who are both very slender and they love them. The lining makes these pants suitable for cooler weather

Q: My son is 9/10. What size should we get?

Medium for a boy who wears size 9/10.
