I purchased the Plant Guru Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil in the 1 oz. size to make my own Thieves Oil for myself and for Christmas gifts. This has save me and my fiancé from illness all winter. I diffuse this oil along with the other Thieves Oil ingredients every night all night long. If I am feeling ill I mix the oil with a carrier oil like coconut oil and put on the bottoms of my feet at night. I then put socks over my feet. This is supposed to pull the toxins out of your body. This oil is also good to dilute in water and gargle if you have a sore throat. It numbs a sore throat in no time and the effect last longer than any over the counter remedy, plus it is all natural unlike chloraseptic. The thieves oil is also good for a chest rub like vicks. Always be sure to put the Cinnamon Bark oil or Thieves oil with a carrier oil or it will cause a burning sensation on the skin. I haven't had it actually burn me, but my skin isn't super sensitive. However, it does very much feel like its burning. The smell of this is spicy cinnamon smell perfect for livening up your home for the holidays if placed in an oil diffuser. You can look up Thieves Oil recipes on Google or Pinterest. You won't regret it. All of my family loves it!

I've purchased this before and really like it. I use it daily in green tea with honey. It's hard to find therapeutic oil made from Ceylon cinnamon bark. Most of what I've found have been for use in a diffuser, from the cinnamon leaf, or from Cassia (cinnamomum aromaticum) which contains coumarin and can be harmful to your liver if taken regularly. My only suggestion is to shorten the tube inside of the bottle. When the volume gets low, it's hard to get out the last few drops.

I love this cinnamon oil and used it to make room sprays for my friends who all loved it as well!! It smells like “true” cinnamon—the kind you would smell on scented pinecones or cinnamon brooms around the holidays. I purchased this after another cinnamon oil ended up being disappointing because it smelled clovey, and didn’t give me the holiday cinnamon scent I was looking for. This one is perfect!! I’ve already gone through a whole bottle and am gearing up to purchase another!

This does not smell like cinnamon bark essential oil at all. It smells like cinnamon leaf essential oil. I ordered another cinnamon bark essential oil at the same time because I thought this one would not arrive on time. The other one smells exactly like it should, like cinnamon sticks, but this one is a disappointment. There doesn’t seem to be a way to return it and request an exchange or refund but I will contact Amazon to see if this is possible. I do not need this essential oil (one that smells like this) and I will not be using it because it will not work for the purpose for which I ordered it.

The only thing I would suggest is the scent needs to be stronger. I’m using the oil in a diffuser and would enjoy it more if the scent was more intense.

100% Pure and it is a great deal. Great for all kinds of uses. If you are oil pulling, put one drop to 3 in a glass jar with your coconut oil. Great for Cardiovascular and immune function. It is a great Antiseptic.
