Cute storage bench. Easy to put together. Nice storage. Love the white wash finish I finished it off with a small quilt.

We just put the bench together last night and have not even tried it out yet. Although it looks great, it had a very strong, chemical smell that took our breath away from the moment we opened the carton. So upsetting since I have a pregnant daughter in the house and my son-in-law who assembled the bench has allergies so he couldn't take the smell. We bought the bench to store my granddaughters outdoor toys but I will have to wait until it off-gasses the smell away.

The bench was super easy to put together, and looks great on my porch. It isn't the most durable bench, treat it with some care, but it holds 250 pounds ok so far. The storage part is pretty open to the elements, so cushions or blankets will get wet in rain or snow.

The pieces aren't cut so they actually fit together well. You're essentially putting squares in circular holes. There are holes on the top piece for some reason that should be filled in but instead the back of the bench just has holes in the top. The part you should sit on with mine doesn't fit into the actual bench, it just sits on top of it. I'm about 150 lb and I won't even sit on it because this thing feels like it's going to break. I'll attach pictures, the machine cutting was terrible. None of the pieces are even, none of them fit together well, and the whole thing looks like it's going to fall apart with a strong breeze.

Was easy enough to assemble (but take your time!) It really is a cute addition to my deck. I would definitely buy this again!

I love the bench. It was not difficult to assemble. I used a soft mallet to hammer the joints into the slots. Did that for all sides before putting in the screws. Everything fit perfectly…….EXCEPT, the last piece, the bench seat. Tried to get it to set flat like in their picture but it will not fit. I put the bench together exactly as the instructions pictured so I have no idea why the top bench seat will not lay flat?I do believe it needs to be waterproofed. I don’t think whatever it has been treated with will protect it from the elements very long.I am a 73 year old woman and I was able to assemble this by myself in about an hour. The fact that I am not super experienced in assembling furniture makes me wonder if I assembled it incorrectly, but I don’t see how since I followed the instructions? I wonder if it is possible the incorrect size bench seat was sent with this product?UPDATE: I reversed the front plate and now it fits better, not in the slots like the bottom plate for the storage area, but it lies flat in the front so that looks better. Too bad they only provide picture instructions and unless you are experienced in assembling furniture you would not know which side needs to be up because everything fits exactly the same…until you try to place the bench seat on top. So if you purchase this bench be sure to carefully observe the front plate and put it in correctly. Also you will need a soft mallet in order to pound the pieces into the slots. That way you will not damage the soft wood. It does have an extremely strong odor so I would suggest you remove it from the box outside your home.I don’t understand why companies that sell unassembled furniture cannot take a few seconds more and a bit more ink to give more detailed instructions and not assume that all people who purchase unassembled furniture will know exactly what to do. However, this is a simple project to assemble minus that one little glitch, which, by the way, was not awfully hard to make it better. Just extra unnecessary labor.It is a very nice storage bench, looks nice and keeps all my drip supplies in one place. I will cover it during the rainy season because everything in the storage area will get wet. I may staple a plastic lining inside the storage area to keep it dry and avoid unwanted critters making a nest in it.

Does what is described and mostly happy with it. The quality of the paint was not great faded very easily and it was very hard to lift off the seat for storage

I use it as a mail delivery box in front the door area with a delivery sign on the bench seat for FedEx,USmail,Amazon "place parcel in box".. it works great and the delivery girls love it ! It's something special for the delivery peeps. It looks very beachie the neighbors across the street says it looks fantastic! so...
