Title says it all..... my new mfr and wallet. Perfect size and functionality. Magnetic closure is perfect to keep any cards from sliding out.

Stylish, not bulky and great qualityBought this as a gift for my husband. He saw someone at a store with this wallet and asked for the brand. It’s been a few months and so far he loves it.

I read many reviews and it was those reviews that made me purchase the item. And maybe they work for the company I don't know. Well shame on me. This is my fault and respectfully my standards are far more higher than this wallet provides. The only way this wallet would last 3 years is if and I say if you never used it OR you were ever so careful and took your time to carefully slide a credit card or insurance card (who's edges can be considered sharp) go in and out and in and out on the side slots. Will leather tear? Yes it will after many uses. Another thing is this wallet has no stitching so you are counting on the glue holding for many years. You will have to handle this with kid gloves and handle it gently and how many guys do that? You are in a crowd and in a hurry and they give you change and a receipt and you need to get it in your wallet quickly and move on, how many times have you had to cram something into your wallet that was say a bit too much and then fold it. I do all the time when i'm traveling. And no I don't have a wallet like George Constanza on Seinfeld but my point is this won't take it. The magnetic closure is not the issue the cheap thin leather that is glued (if its leather) has no chance to survive. Fold a stitched wallet a few thousand times a year and where does it start to show wear and fail? The middle right where it bends. This one I just got today the weakest part is at the bottom where my pen is pointing in the middle as mine is already coming loose. The magnetic gimmick sucked me in. Don't make the same mistake, you will not grow old with this wallet. Got it today, going back same day.

The media could not be loaded. Versatile wallet that fits multiple credit cards and some cash. Leather is smooth and outside color perfectly complements the inside of the wallet. Can’t go wrong with this purchase. It’s durable and you will get good complements in its look a d functionality. Would definitely recommend this product.

I bought a Bellroy Slim Sleeve (the normal edition) just shy of ten years ago and noticed a tear in one of the interior corners that was growing pretty quickly as I kept using the wallet. I saw this one when I went to buy a replacement, and was curious enough to try it out.The two wallets are very similar, but there are some key differences:* The magnets. I'm indifferent-to-negative about a magnetic attachment. It feels awkward to open when the wallet is empty, but when I stuff my normal load of cards and cash in, it just helps the wallet stay closed -- not that I need that, since it lives in my pocket. But maybe nice if kept in a purse or backpack?* The Apex actually has a slightly larger footprint. This is reflected in the specs, and they seem accurate. But don't be misled -- the heat-bonded leather may make for a *slightly* thinner wallet, but it extends out wider and taller to provide the leather for bonding.* The colors! This may just be because Bellroy has expanded their color palette over the years, but the Apex has a lot more color choices than when I last bought a wallet from them. My Indigo wallet is very blue, but the interior is less orange and more brown than I expected from the photos.My main question is how long this heat bonding will last. Reviews suggest it won't be the ten years my previous wallet went for? Having experienced the wallet, I like it, but I think I'd recommend a regular Slim Sleeve instead -- the wallet thickness is likely dominated by your cards/cash collection; the Slim Sleeve is slightly smaller in the remaining dimensions; and the Slim Sleeve is likely more durable. (Also, it's half the price!)

This is a great little wallet. It is well made and I love the color (Indigo). It is the perfect size for those who like small wallets. I'd say that I probably have one too many credit cards in it so the magnet does not work all the way around but I am pretty sure that with repeated use it will stretch out a bit and close all the way.

Despite the reviews I read about this not closing, I decided to purchase this wallet for its look. I also decided to use the wallet for some time before writing a review. Here’s what I’ve found:Like others I cannot get the wallet to close fully. My setup: I put my license in the left pocket and cash in the sleeve behind. I put my debit card in the right pocket, and 5 cards in the sleeve behind. This may be too many cards for it to close as the sleeves just may not be thick enough. Even reducing the number to 3 cards and it still won’t close (note: I have one thick credit card and 2 insurance cards. I’d guesstimate this about 2mm thick).Since it’s been in use unfortunately I have slightly warped the edges now making it impossible to fully close. However in all cases the magnets are strong enough to stay closed in my setup.As far as the quality goes, I really like this wallet. It is made well and is a unique and nice design. The leather is quite soft and has a very nice hand. I chose the blue color with burnt orange and those who’ve seen the wallet frequently compliment me. It’s also quite sleek and works well in my front pocket which is what I prefer. I also quite love the tab to help pull the cards out. I also don’t worry about skimmers as this blocks RFID via the faraday caged design.So, while it won’t fully close and I may be overpacking it, I would still recommend this because of it’s aesthetic and features. No it will not fully close (and likely never due to my setup) but it serves the purpose of being small, functional, and also looks good.
