As others have stated, the wire colors will not match up. Here's what I had to wire the connector up to to get the pedal to control the 2012 Camaro SS LS3 E38 PCM I have. I'm using the 10379038 Accelerator Pedal with Position Sensor (also bought here on Amazon)

I am an Expert in this Accelerator system.I purchased this part for a homicide investigation ( Unintended Acceleration).It had me questioning 3 years of work. The thing is wired backwards. This cost me 5 hours of work and a 2 call's to the lawyer about what I thought was an error in my report that turned out to be an error in the darn part and GM.Expert fee 250 per hour x 5hours = 1250.00 lost plus stress.The reason it is backwards is GM has published a backwards diagram and this part is based on their defective service information. I have been dealing with this for years in the GM service documents are wrong.

Verify the pinouts!!! I bought this for a 2013 Cadillac Escalade Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor for an LS swap I'm doing and although the wires (purple, ltblu, tan, whtblk, dkblu brn) were in line, the one I purchased came wired exactly backwards or flipped (maybe for a different model vehicle?). It first appeared I could just wire the connector in but, after a couple of weeks of troubleshooting I looked and found a GM pinout for the plug-to-pedal. I easily repined the connector and it worked. Great connector otherwise, well constructed and sealed.
