I used this yarn to make a scarf for my partner for Christmas. The colour is beautiful and it feels luxurious. I haven't had any issues with it coming apart. It's not the easiest to unravel if you've made a mistake

It’s expensive, it’s true. But I’ve always seen something noble in wool and this one is excellent I think. Seeing the reviews, people were talking about how easily it breaks, but I personally believe can’t treat natural wool as the synthetic one. I’ve bought 12 yarns for making 2 blankets for my baby twins. They’re not gonna be cheap but personally I think it’s worthy. I honestly think this wool has nothing to do with blendings with acrylic and that’s why it’s expensive. A 100% merino wool blanket would cost over 100£

Absolutely love this wool, soft, warm and cuddly. Exceeded my expectations dramatically. Ended up buying a lot more in all different colours.

Okay quality

Enjoying using this - I’m a beginner to crochet, and had bought another brand, which was awful and “splitty” which made life difficult - I thought it was just me who was rubbish at crochet…so one last try, and ordered this yarn (which was the recommended one, but I was a bit worried about spending too much in case I couldn’t follow the pattern) anyway, once I tried with this yarn I found I could crochet, and I am now halfway through making a body for a Polar Bear! I have also now ordered the other 3 balls which I will need to finish the cuddly toy! I should have known….it’s the same old story, you pay for what you get! I am managing to make something which looks neat, the stitches are well defined, and the strand doesn’t split when you’re forming the stitches. Now just hoping that I can get it finished in time for Christmas!

i loved this yarn although you don’t get much for the price, i tried to re order and i was send a much thinner yarn - can anyone help me find a way to order the thickness in the photo? i want to finish what i have started !

I have never crochet or knitted before and after reading a review by someone else who recommended this wool was perfect for beginners, I ordered a ball. Last night in half an hour each I had taught myself how to do simple knitting and then simple crochet stitch. As a dual citizen of New Zealand and UK, I knew merino wall would be lovely and soft. Enjoyed both kitting and crochet (also have my own sheep so planning on learning spinning next to process my own wall), I have ordered some more wool direct from the company which is cheaper as they sent a 20% discount code if order direct.

It’s disappointing that I am unable to finish the large blanket as month after month I’m unable to buy more, even when I change the colours. A lot of money for something I can’t finish
