Worked great on my 2017 Sienna
Water pump went out on my 2017 Sienna XLE. This worked great to fix it. I did not drop the engine as the dealer instruction would say. But definitely an 8 hour job for the home mechanic. Has help up for 5k since with no issue. Be careful if you replace the fan belt too. The belts on amazon seem to be 8 ribs, but my Sienna needed 7 ribs....

OEM replacement
the casting looks rougher than OEM (1B vs 3B), but has the same Aisin cast in name. I was very disappointed with OEM quality with the water pump bearing gave out at 46k miles. let's hope this one last longer than that. replacement took almost two days with the tight clearance against the right side wall. did not have to jack up the engine, and took a lot of patient removing harness bracket, connector to the thermostat, by pass hose to the other side of the engine, and the dreaded motor mount bracket with one long bolt that took 2 hours to figure out how to remove (pull the by pass hose first two clamps, and yank hard on it). putting back was a real choir as well, since I tried to put some sealant on the mating flange of water pump, and gasket, but ending up making a mess when tried to snake the water pump back in place. put on a very thin layer help, but next time will use no sealant, and will try to jack up the engine. replace both the tensioner and idler bearings Acdelco for idler and some odd brand name tensioner bearing, and everything sounds good afterwards, no leak yet. to install the belt, turn the tensioner ccw and put an allen key in the service hole to hold it in place. this makes the belt installation very easy.

REMANUFACTURED
States new, pay for new.. water pump arrives & it's obvious the pump has been rebuilt & sent back out as new. The OE pump has Toyota stamped in it this one however had Toyota on it till it was ground off.. my customer has been waiting so I'm having to accept this misfortune & hope that'll work!
