This flat iron (that I use to curl) travels well all around the world! Even though I bought it just for travel, it is the favorite of my flat irons.

This worked great for a trip to Italy and Switzerland - all I needed was an adapter (no converter was needed). Used in 4 different hotels with no problems… just plugged it in and it worked! The quality is good but not excellent. I use a BaByliss Pro straighter at home but didn’t think it would work in Europe, so I purchased this one. Results were as expected and very good for the price point of this versatile tool.

I love that this iron is curved so when I twist, it makes curls.I live in the USA, and I got it to use on vacation in the UK. It wells much better in the UK! It gets hotter faster there. But that’s because it’s twice as much juice, so it’s not the appliance’s fault that it seems less effective in the USA.I think the temperature readings are not accurate. It seemed like the 430 degree setting was a lot hotter in the UK than in the USA. I could be wrong, but that’s what it seemed like. But I’m not going to buy a special thermometer just to measure the temp of this device, so I’ll never know.All that said, I still like this iron a lot. I do recommend it.Please note that the one I got comes with a US plug. Although it will work on the UK electrical system, you still need a plug converter so you can plug the converter into the wall outlet in the UK, then plug this device into the converter to use it.

I purchased this solely for travel to Europe. I used this with an adapter in the UK and on a River boat cruise ship through Germany and Switzerland. Both were 3 prong plugs (but different). This worked fine for travel and straightening my hair. There are some reviews that says this pulls the hair. I found that occasionally it does pull hair but mostly when the section of hair I was trying to straighten was too large. If you use smaller sections and comb it through before straightening then it didn’t pull. Also- I took my regular hair dryer and was unable to use it bc trying to convert from 110 to 220 just never works well when traveling abroad. I’m glad I bought this and when I travel next I’m going to find my own 220 hair dryer as well. Just don’t forget your adapter for the outlets for traveling abroad.

I purchase this exact same product once from a store and this one from Amazon. The Amazon purchased flat iron does not seem to heat as well as the one purchased from the store. It is lightweight, sized well and easy to use.

Funciona perfectamente en Europa

I bought this to use during a trip to Europe. I also bought the correct adapter. I tested it at home and it heated up and worked well. I liked everything about it. I used it onetime in Europe with the adaptor and it worked fine. Unfortunately, the second time I used it, it would not heat up. Tried it in different outlets with the appropriate adapter and it would turn on but it would not heat up. Very disappointing. I had two weeks of bad hair days while traveling. By the time I returned home, my return window had expired.
