I bought this phone for £200 and at that price it was a bit of a bargain. I chose this phone for its AMOLED display, good camera, dual SIM facility and 5G connectivity. In all areas it hasn't disappointed. The display is gorgeous, with strong colours, wide viewing angles, and it's viewable even in strong sunshine. True it's "only" 90Hz but as I don't game on the phone so I have set it to 60Hz which suits my purposes and reduces battery consumption as well. I also like the phone's form factor. It's tall and narrow but not too large to fit into, and be used with, one hand. There is only one speaker at the base of the phone and it's not the greatest however if you hold it cupped you can use your hand as a bass enhancer which noticeably improves the sound quality. The camera takes fairly decent photographs and the software works well to produce good images even in dim lighting conditions. Don't expect top notch capabilities as you get in high end smartphones but then you're paying way less than half the price. Also you can install the google camera app GCAM, as used on their Pixel range, from enthusiast sites; it gives you slightly, better image quality and more features than the stock camera app. The dual SIM facility works well but only one of the slots can be used to operate over 5G, however both can be used for 4G, 3G and 2G. Unfortunately there is no SDCARD slot so you can't expand the memory but there are a choice of ample capacities available. Since owning the phone I have received a couple of OTA security updates to the Oxygen 11 OS and I believe that a major update to Oxygen 12 is in the works (a beta is already being deployed in India). Overall this is a superb choice for a mid range phone IMHO and well worth the money I spent on it.

After having a OnePlus 3T for 4 and 1/2 years and it worked extremely well until the last few months (Buttons stopped working and the battery drained heavily, but due to age I understand). I decided to go for another OnePlus. After my last phone lasted well over what I expected it to go, and the software was updated way more than I initially expected I was very impressed by OnePlus's dedication to making everyone happy, even for older phones like my own. Hopefully, with this phone, I can get the same quality and assurance. The same software is sleek and simple and packed with great extra helpful features even Google doesn't ship (draw a V shape on the display for flashlight is so useful when in dark). The screen is FLUID, to say the least with the 90hz display. I can't say it is noticeable all the time but animations feel slicker than ever, especially with the new gesture-type system instead of buttons on the bottom. Battery is great. I can sometimes forget to charge my phone one night and I can still go through another day (with medium use). The camera is a little lackluster, pictures don't feel as sharp as my OnePlus 3T. Hopefully, that is just software compressing but I would like that ironing out if possible (but I didn't really buy it for the camera. If you want an amazing Camera phone, I'd look elsewhere) but it does the job with close subjects and wide shots. Just don't zoom in once you've taken the photo. The fingerprint sensor is QUICK and fluid. So great to have it on the screen. 1 speaker which isn't great but again, it's £300. Some higher-end phones are like this too so here it's not that offensive. The plastic body is a shame and no Gorilla Glass but the case makes up for that as I never not have a protective case on my phone. The one that comes with it is sleek, protective, and cool-looking. You can see the blue back still, which still looks really nice. Performance is great! Games are fluid with that 90Hz display. COD Mobile runs really well for example. And finally, the 128GB base model also proves its longevity and will surely last me many more tunes added to my Spotify downloads. All in all, it's a necessity phone which is what OnePlus brands it as rightly. It's not perfect but does what it needs to do for the price, and focuses on those features that will make sure it reaches that longevity it needs. I cannot comment on the longevity or durability, but I can speak from my previous experience it is great. This is the perfect necessity phone that is also sleek and modern and packed with useful features.

It's good, the battery lasts a lot, easy to use, but doesn't come with instructions and many things I had to find out o my own. The screen protector it's too shiny like a mirror which is not good as outside you can't see very well and also I found it too dark. The cam is not that good, the pictures are bit surreal, the colour too light. I don't like either the clock with the 1 in red colour, not very visible and can confuses you about the hour. Otherwise value price it's good phone.

Finding the phone much better than my previous one as it is larger and is easier to type with. I was due an upgrade as had previous phone for two years. Son recommended it as had all the features of a Samsung but was £150 cheaper. Very pleased with it and would recommend to anyone looking for a cheaper phone which has all the features of its lots more expensive rivals.

Bought this for my son as a birthday present. He's very pleased with it. Not flagship performance or asthetics but great for the price. And, being a OnePlus phone, it doesn't come with a load of bloatware pre-installed, which many handsets around this price point do. Would recommend.
