Nice bed frame at a great value. Responsive customer service
I had a rough start with this item due to a delivery issue. SHA CERLIN was responsive when I reached out, and they helped me reach an acceptable resolution. I definitely appreciate how quick they communicated.I purchased another frame (ZINUS Suzanne 37 Inch Metal and Wood Platform Bed Frame) from Amazon, and these two frames have a similar look and price point. I'll be comparing these two frames in this review. I rated this SHA CERLIN frame at 5 stars and the ZINUS Suzanne at 2 stars.I like that this one has steel slats which I think will give better support than the other one, which has wood slats. This one comes with rubber pieces that hold the slats in place and prevent metal-on-metal contact/noise. I'll have to see how long those rubber pieces last, but it seems effective for now. The other frame used velcro to keep the slats in place. It gets the job done, but I like this frame's design better.Assembly for the other frame was off to a good start, but eventually I ran into issues with some of the pieces not fitting well. I had to really force some of them together with my full body weight and a rubber mallet, and I find it impossible to disassemble again. That really hurt my impression of the other frame. A main motivator for looking at frames like these two was that they'd be easy to put together and take apart. The other frame fails in this regard. This frame seemed pretty easy to assemble, and I feel like all the parts were machined well enough that nothing needed to be forced together. I expect to be able to take apart portions of the frame as necessary without issue. One issue I did have during assembly was when connecting the side pieces to the end pieces. There's not a whole lot of support during this step, and it can be tricky getting the bolts and holes lined up if you don't maintain a 90 degree contact. After you get the first one going, this adds support making the other pieces easier to attach. Overall, I don't think this was a big enough issue to subtract from my final rating. The other frame seemed to have stained pieces for the headboard/footboard, and the stain hadn't set in fully before they shipped it out. When wiping the surface with the stain, I noticed it seemed to come off onto the rag I used. There was also a strong chemical smell coming from the stained pieces. I did not experience similar issues with this frame.Once put together, I think this bed frame looks pretty good, and it feels pretty solid. For the price, I'm pretty happy with this purchase. This combined with my good experience with customer support gives them a 5 from me.

Be patient and think it through, and it assembles easily.
Update. More than a year now and the two Queen size we purchased are great. No loose hardware. We now have purchased a King size and it is also very good quality and well laid out instructions. If you can read, they you can put this together.First, I want to address several of the Low-Star reviews. The product I received, was high quality and very sturdy. We purchased two queen size versions of these beds. Mainly because I am a large person, not fat just big well over 6 ft, and muscular and close to 300 lb. My wife is also over 6 ft. We wanted to make sure that it was handle us, and the occasional 150 lb dog that might jump up on the bed with usThings to know:There was rubber spacers to prevent squeaking, and the instructions for what there was, were accurate. So the good parts are, very sturdy, worth the money, not too hard to put together. Now the hard part, they left out a lot of the little things you need to know to put it together without frustration.First, make sure you do complete the headboard first. It can be tightened down completely. With the sidebars, you must leave the central screws on the tee support loose. If you don't, you're going to have an impossible time getting the slats in.Once the sidebars, and central bar are assembled, attach the sidebars to the footboard Believe the screws a little loose. Then attach the headboard, and leave the screws a little loose. There are two cross bars at the foot and head of the bed. Make sure you get them right, and that the central bar is in the correct orientation. There are little rubber guides in the sidebars for the slats. I bought two beds, and on one of them I had to use two spare guides. As two were broken. That had to have happened in the factory. But they do ship with four spare ones.As you put each of the slats in, make sure it's in both holes on both sides, then put the rubber plugs in to hold them in place.Once all the slats are in, and hooked correctly. It doesn't explain this in the instructions you'll have to look at it and see how it goes together. It's not that hard. Just be patient.Once all of that is done, then tighten down all the Allen screws.Tighten them, don't break them. They're very solid, but I could see someone just trying to crank them all the way down because there's no lock washers. The first bed took me about 2 and 1/2 hours, going step by step and then figuring out all the little steps they left out.The second bed took me an hour and 10 minutes including unpacking and cleanup. They are very solid. They are a good value for the money. And unless there's been some major design changes, the only issue with putting it together, would be for those who are impatient, or completely mechanically unskilled.

Great Value For The Money
Easy to assemble. The frame is very stable and durable. Does not require a box spring, only a mattress. The head and foot boards are not too big. The mattress fits on the frame well. Pay attention to the measurements because this frame does sit very low to the ground. Great value for the money.

Sturdy and easy to build
I was a little worried buying a headboard and footboard and having a delivered without actually seeing it first hand The box arrived really quickly it is a very large box but when you open it up every single part is labeled clearly it is very easy to put together it is a little time-consuming but very easy to put together I did it myself it probably would have gotten done a lot faster if I had another person everything fit perfectly and the new bed looks great on the king size platform bed I would highly recommend anybody looking for a sturdy and well-built bed frame to purchase this one you get great quality at a excellent price.
