Q: how are these on snow and ice?

The Targhee III Slip-On offers our KEEN.ALL-TERRAIN outsole, which is what the Targhee III hikers have. That said, the Anchorage III or Brixen will offer better traction on snow and ice as their outsole's are designed for that use.

Q: Do these run true to size or do I need to size up or down?

I wear custom orthotics and always size up 1x. So, I did so with these and had no problems, so my assumption is that they run true; Plus you can order on Prime Wardrobe for free return, if they don't fit! Good luck!

Q: Are they formal enough to work? (office work)?

Hi, some of our customers do use these as shoes to work in for the office.

Yes I believe they would make a good walking and hiking shoe. They have good tread for traction and ankle support. I have a different pair of Keen slip-ons and I would definitely use them as a hiking shoe
