I'm using this tape to help a scar on my arm after I had an operation. I thought I'd try it as 'silicon tape' is recommended on the NHS website. I like how it sticks on well, hides the scar and gives it a bit of protection from rubbing especially at night. When I take it off the scar seems much less pronounced. The only downside it that it restricts movement of the skin, so I have to take it off to exercise properly. It is reusable several times until it loses it's stickiness. I've found I can trim the ends off to get a bit more use out of each piece. Overall I'm very pleased with it.

I purchased this for extensive scarring to my arm, drawn in by the promise of 2M at a very reasonable price. After a few days’ worth of usage it was time to apply new sheets, where I was greeted with defective silicone partway through the roll. (In the photos it’s the lightened area down the middle of the reel). I tried to cut around it to use what I could, but it wasn’t wide enough unfortunately. I’m now missing a lot of the product from this… I attempted to place some of it on my arm (shown in the photos) but as you can see it’s uneven, not sticking properly, and I would hazard a guess not effective like that. I haven’t managed to use enough of it to even comment on whether the product works or not. Hopefully it was just a dodgey batch, but either way I’m disappointed. Amazon doesn’t make it easy to contact the seller either, so I haven’t been able to speak directly to them.- edited to add, the seller contacted me direct and refunded the product in full, cannot fault the customer service which leads me to believe it was a one off with the faulty product -

I had open surgery in 2021, and thought my tummy would never look the same again. I used this tape within 2 years of healing and it worked. The doctors had to reopen me in 2025 and we're shocked they couldn't see the scar until I closely pointed it out to them. They reopened me accross the same line so I thought 'it definitely won't heal the same now.' I kid you not, 5 months later, I can barely see the scar again.I wear the tape for around 8 hours a day (usually at night), and let my scar breathe on its own, otherwise. Sometimes I'll alternate if I'm having a lazy day at home. The tape doesn't get stinky, and on some occasions be reused before discarded. This product is so amazing, I now keep it stocked at home to share with family too. I'd strongly recommend this product.Miracle worker!

I am a repeat buyer of this tape. My surgeon recommended that I use a silicon tape on my scar after surgery and this does the trick perfectly. I really like the fact it has perforated sections as it means that I know how many I will need for each area. My scar is over my elbow, so is a place where the tape should easily come off due to movement but this tape stays put all day and night and does not roll or scrunch up!
