I bought these for some family members as gifts to carry in their vehicle. Not for shoveling but as a weapon for security. They, like military entrenching tools, are serious weapons when used for that purpose. And they can shovel stuff, too.

Handy and well made, yet small enough to fit in Go Bag.

I bought this for the truck if we get stuck, etc. The length is a tad short, so if you're a big/tall guy or gal— get the longer-handled version they offer for a few $$ more. It was a little tight because of it being new and newly painted, but that will loosen up a bit with use.It's not your top-notch foldable shovel but it fits my needs.

Bought this as an emergency shovel for a buddy on his boat. I't snice quality, doesn't take up much room and looks like it will do the job.Recommended.

It needs to be for very light use. We bought to dig at my mom's grave but the dirt was very hard. This kept collapsing.

I have been at these products for awhile now, now that I have it I wish I would have ordered it earlier!!!! IT has everything I need and lightweight!!!! If you do any activities outdoors hunting, fishing and camping I highly recommend you get this tool. I had ordered another one that cost more and returned it as soon as I got this one.
