Beautiful turtle. VERY small compartment
This is a beautiful piece of work. I gave it as a gift to a turtle lover and they were impressed. The "box," or compartment is so small I don't know if you could fit anything into it but it's a cool idea and it is very cute.

Wife loved it
I bought this from my wife and she loves it. The little turtle hooks into the egg so that it almost looks like they’re attached? But it does come away from the eggshell and then the turtle shell opens up. The room itself inside the turtle shell is very small and I don’t think you can, actually put a ring in there. You can hook the ring to the turtles head. That’s what my wife did. She uses it for her wedding ring. But as for the storage inside the turtle, I don’t think it’s very useful. Overall, it’s a nice and I recommend it.

this little hatching sea turtle is adorable!! Very well made. i am using it in a mermaid mosiac along with some little turtle earrings by Betsy Johnson. It doesnt open wide enough to really put anything inside the mouth, but I didn't purchase it for that feature. I love it!!!

Live this little guy.
Surprisingly gentle for its size with the gems! I have always s endeared “miniatures.” This is the best yet. My first thought was this could be used for a child’s tooth under a pillow. Not sure how to place a gift but that can be figured out later!!
