Reay to use right out of the box!
At first it felt too light, but now I have gotten used to it. The power button was not working on my original remote, so needed a replacement. The reason I decided on this remote was the fact that there was no setting up. I put in the batteries, and it worked right away. All in all I am very pleased.

does not work
The remote came with rusted out terminals to start so it isnt new. In there web page description it says it will work with my tv, big lie these are units bought as a batch with the seller having no idea if they work or not, am returning and for all of you out there that think these remotes are new you are wrong

You can't enter sub-channels. The dash is just a dash; it never acts as a decimal point
I had seen one review indicating that this remote did not work trying to enter a digital sub-channel, like 3.4, 6.2, or 10.6. On my 11 year old 42" Vizio, the dash on the remote enters a decimal point when entering a digital sub-channel number using the numeric keys, so, I hoped, in spite of the one reviewer's comment, that the dash on this remote would do the same on my new Hisense 65U6H. It does not. Try to enter 6.3 and you see 6-3 on the TV, and the channel will change to 6.1. After trying it out, I ordered a different, newer remote that also has the dash. It was indicated in a review comment that the dash key entered a decimal point. Well, no joy there, either, so I'll be sending it back as well. Too bad that Hisense decided to drop numeric keys from their remotes in the 2022 lineup.

Works on more than Hisense
Bought the remote as a replacement and it works fine. It is easy to use and I like the youtube button and live tv button it has. It also turns on and off my LG tvs. I have one complaint and its not necessarily against this remote, more so all of them. I want to know why I can't find remotes anymore that have a backlight on them. This is such a great feature that is missing on every remote I have seen of late and its very frustrating to have to hunt and peck for the correct button or shine the light from my phone to be able to see what buttons to push in the dark. If anyone else has this issue I did find a solution that has worked on my other remotes. I simply glued a small bead to the center button so as to use it as a reference point to navigate on the remote when I can't see the buttons. Backlight is preferred but my idea works well enough. Not the prettiest thing but works. Would buy again if needed.
