5/8-Inch Ultra Leather Leash - Very Soft - Amish Made - Used by The Top Trainers (5/8-Inch x 3-Feet)

Really love this leash. The weight and the width are perfect. It’s soft and comfortable to hold. It feels slightly broken in already, and will only get better.

Used for leash training a 60 lb labrador. 4 foot length provides the right length to keep the dog at my left and drape comfortably across my front. Any longer and I would be carrying extra leash. Feels really great in my hands. High quality and worth the price.

I purchased this for my new heathen. I much more prefer using leather leashes than nylon, personal preference. The width of the leash fits nicely in my hand and it feels sturdy for a puppy learning not to pull (good lord, this heathen can pull but that's for another product review). It's long enough to wrap around my upper waist as my lower waist is too round for the leash to fit around. Don't judge! I have weakness for all things carbs and cupcakes. If I'm feeling especially round that day, I just hang the leash around my neck. There is a handy dandy ring that you can clip onto and you can have a fashionable necklace too.The leather does seem pretty stiff but with use and conditioning it should soften up just fine. And it is holding up well to puppy teeth. Overall it's a nice leash.

I bought the thicker version of this leash for a mini Schnauzer and found it to be too big.We now have 2 dogs and this is for a smaller mini Schnauzer. It is working very well.

Quality leash! Great hand, super soft and pliable once thru a short breaking in period. The braid just below the wrist loop feels good and provides great grip. Had purchased one for the largest of our dogs (75-80 lb mastiff mix), ended up using it all the time for both him and the other dogs when they were going out independently. Bought 2 more so we have one of these for each of the dogs...have pretty much retired all of our other leashes!

While it is soft to the touch, it’s thicker and heavier than I expected. It is not as giving as I was hoping. This would be great for a strong breed, but not as a show lead for my Golden Retriever.

It’s actually what I wanted.

I have a Rottie Puppy who is over 100lbs and this leash is perfect for training and holding my exuberant puppy!
