Staedtler Karat Aquarell Premium Watercolor Pencils, Set of 24 Colors (125M24)

These are the best watercolor pencils I’ve found. Incredible colors, triangular shape (ergonomic) and works beautifully alone or with my regular watercolors paints. They’re fun to use, blend and build colors (although they are very pigmented)and I’ve even been able to mix these pencils to creat transition colors when drawing peacock feathers, trees, whatever.I love painting with watercolor paint but these are incredible w/c pencils. Sometimes I just feel like drawing and these are a dream to use wet or dry. I am amazed every time I use them. They work better than many brands of watercolor paints I’ve used.These are a great addition to have in your art collection and they are absolutely worth the price!

I used this for the fine details of my watercolor Robin painting. The pencils sharpen well, hold their edge without breaking and go on smooth. I had some student grade Faber-Castell's that weren't good enough and did a lot of research before buying these. So far, I'm a fan! The color options are nice as well, lots of blues and orange/reds. I'm excited to use these going forward to add detail to my paintings before washing over them with water. Its much easier to get the fine work done this way, or you can leave it dry to add texture.

This is a really set of watercolor pencils. The range of colors is broad. The colors have good pigment. They react well to water.

I purchased these water color pencils for outlining my artwork. It is much better than using Graphite and erasing. With the stroke of a brush the colors blend in. So, these pencils are durable and performed as expected.

great addition to my watercolor painting stash. They will be greatly used.

Went on cruise to Baltic Sea and stood at the same spot Munch stood and got his inspiration for the Scream. I couldn’t bring my watercolor paints so these pencils were a great substitute. They are great!! And please no criticism of my artistic ability!! Ha!
