Good size opening for branches
These work well - the opening is a good size for larger branches. We used 2x2 in long wood pieces (about 6 - 8 feet long) to insert into these and it works really well. Next year I will buy more to keep more of my tree branches from breaking with the weight of the fruit. I am also using them to support my tree branches from the weight of the very fat, cute, happy and hungry raccoons that love my fruit and break all my persimmon tree branches in the process.

Perfect for our peach tree
These are absolutely perfect to crutch our heavily-loaded peach tree limbs. We're using 10 of these to lighten the load of the tree as-needed. Just grab some 2x2 lumber, measure it up to the branch you need to support, cut it longer than you think to ensure the weight of the branch keeps the crutch in place during windy weather, insert the lumber into the crutch, screw it in place and prop-up your tree! It's really simple, just get enough to do the job right.

Awesome Plumeria Tree Supports
Head to Lowes for the 2”x2” 3’ posts to put in these crutches. They are strong enough to hold the plumerias up, but soft enough not to damage them.

Easy install and very supportive
Used these to support heavy branches on our avocado tree. Easy install and no issues with it falling over even after months of use.
