I’m a huge fan of the Beplain brand, because they are far from plain at a ridiculously affordable price point and great for people who have sensitive, acne-prone skin (which I have). The Cicaful Calming Pads, for example, come in a 60-count of thin, textured, presoaked mesh cotton rounds for $22 as of this writing. The treatment essence these are saturated in is clear, near odorless, and likely suitable for all users.The first ingredient is ~45% of Centella Asiatica extract, known to be incredibly soothing/calming with natural anti inflammatory properties; along with vitamin B5 (panthenol), allantoin, additional Cica compounds, and sodium hyaluronate (hyaluronic acid salts than enhance water retention). No added fragrances or colorants, astringents (witch hazel or alcohol), and nothing I consider an essential oil/extract. Please see included images for additional ingredient information and use instructions.Instructions suggest placing a couple of these over your cheeks and brow for a few minutes, as a calming treatment. Then lightly sweeping the textured pad over the skin for mild physical exfoliation, if you are into that. As these are hydration focused, I like to place them in the fridge for an additional cooling effect. Do not freeze. I tweeze (comes with tiny plastic tool) out a few pads and place them on my trouble spots. I suffer from both acne and Rosacea. These are very soothing and gentle. I’m not shiny or especially dried out after using these on my combination skin. Nor do I feel greasy, slippery, sticky or tacky either since I layer on moisturizer shortly after use. Because of the nature of the hyaluronic acid, you will want to use a moisturizer too in order to glean the most benefit. Not using one may be counterproductive as you are trying to build in and seal moisture into the skin. Doesn’t have to be expensive or thick. I did not experience any rashes, redness, irritation, flares, a sudden breakout or other unpleasant adverse reaction while using these.Very pleased with the use and quality of these presoaked pads by Beplain. Once again, they’ve reminded me why I like their simplistic but effective skincare.

I am not sure if this brings things up out of the skin then it clears but my face is the worst it has ever been. Like I am embarrassed. I think part can be an allergic reaction. I am returning this, my face is destroyed and I have used it for a week… My face is worse now than it was prior. This is the first one star and only second product I have actually felt the need to make a review. My other review was a 5 star on a pet toy. This is hazardous and trying to prevent future issues.

These BePlain Cicaful Calming Pads are hydrating toner pads. They aren't astringent or harsh, and as far as I can tell, they don't contain any exfoliating ingredients except the embossed side of the cotton pads that are soaked in toner.The tub of pads comes with mini tweezers to help you separate a pad from the pile hygienically. The pads are very moist with watery toner that doesn't leave any residue. The toner liquid is fragrance free and very soothing. The ingredients contain sodium hyaluronate and panthenol for moisture retention, arginine for antioxidants, multiple soothing ingredients like centella asiatica, allantoin, madecassoside, asiaticoside, and chamomile.It's made in Korea. My daughters..hate using this bcz pad is too rough.I'm sure they use this material bcz of peeling but still too much.. also sticky

I honestly wasn't sure what to expect - my skincare routine fluctuates from getting really into an in-depth daily ritual to barely remembering to wash my face at night. I'm not consistent, but so far it's been OK. My only real skin complaint nearing 40 is that my skin craves moisture, especially in the winter. These are very soothing to dry skin. Initially when I opened up the container, I was surprised to see little pads that reminded me of my teens using Oxyclean pads for acne, but unlike the sting that those always brought, this provides instant cooling and a soft lingering moisture on the skin. I found it very enjoyable and though I was a little confused by the instructions to leave it in one spot and then spread, I got plenty of moisture and softness from a single pad used on my entire face. Scent is very subtle, but it is there if you are fragrance sensitive.

I repurchased this product because I liked it the first time, but I was truly disappointed this time. How could you send me an opened product without a box, just wrapped in plastic? The liquid inside had completely leaked out. Of course, I returned it and requested a replacement, and I received a proper product in the end. However, I am leaving an honest review because I believe this kind of issue should never happen again. Please make sure this does not happen in the future.
