Grandpa is a black belt in Karate so when his granddaughter wanted to learn her papa bought her a real Gi! She’s been inspired by the power rangers. The quality of this Gi is similar to the one papa wears. His was made in Japan for Shitoru type Karate. The fabric is comfortable and allows her to be flexible in her kicks, splits, etc. It is great value, fit and will remain durable for a long time to come. Stitching is heavy duty so I know it won’t fray which is important. It’s not flimsy, solid weight but not heavy. We love it! Thanks for making a great quality product for kids that looks so professional!

Item came dirty. Look like used before or as a second hand..

I've owned this Gi for a few months now and it's worked out fine. It's medium weight and holds up well to karate practice . As with other Gi's I've owned in the past, there is a high cotton content in the Gi so it does shrink when put in a dryer. For that reason I intentionally bought a size larger than the one I thought I needed. After washing and drying the larger Gi it then fit perfectly.
