Good face coverage
As with some other, I found that the instructions and photographs were essentially useless. One you grasp that you have to bend the tangs at the creases to reverse them into place, it is simplicity itself. It took me half an hour to work this out (and I like to think that I'm fairly practical)., One good photo would have sorted this out. The rest is plain sailing. The helmet seems nice and sturdy, the ear protectors fit nicely (I've got a big head...) and the face shield has a good wide coverage. Don't remember to take BOTH protectors off before using.

Good product bad instructions
I read the reviews about this being difficult to assemble, and thought how hard could a helmet be? the truth is it is not hard if you know how, but you wont know how by reading the instructions, as it does not tell you,the difficult part is putting the inner head band in to the plastic outer shell, there are 4 plastic tabs that slot into 4 groves in the helmet, you need to bend the plastic tabs, along the middle fold, it is not as obvious as you would think, but once you've done that you can slide the tabs in correctly, and the helmet will sit on your head in the right way. remember the sweat band goes at the front of the helmet The rest is quite straight forward, the ear phones go on after by clipping them in to the slot and the visor arms slides in to the headphone support, the visor itself is held on by the little tabs on the visor frame, you need to turn them to lock the visor in place. I've given 3 stars only because the instructions are useless, the product seems very good and just what you need if you value your safety.I have not used it yet so I wont comment on it's effectiveness, but I think it will do the job just fine.I hope this helps.

GOOD QUALITY AND GOOD VALUE
I bought this helmet, ear protection and visor kit for my home workshop, I find it is more than ample for my own personal needs and 100% fit for purpose, the helmet hit fully complies with the current h&s regulations. It is not delivered assembled but comes delivered in individual parts ready to assemble so I have to say Some very basic common sense assembly is required to put the kit together and if like me you have worked in the construction industry putting one of these together in the past it will only take a few minutes of your time to assemble ready for use, once assembled I found the helmet easy to adjust and comfortable to use.Personally I think these helmets are extremely well made, and excellent value for money.I just read some of the negative feedback some other users have given this helmet and I feel this is totally unjustified. I find it unbelievable that so many people could not assemble this helmet correctly! And have to question if they cant figure out how to put some basic ppe together should they be trusted to doing anything which requires the use of such equipment, I think not.Don't be put of the negative feedback this safety equipment is excellent value and well constructed and if you have any knowledge of competent diy skills or trade skills you will have no problem building this kit.And to the people who say the visor is hard to see through! (Unbelievable) Gosh it's pretty obvious that each side of the visor is covered in a protective film and if you pick at the edge OF EACH SIDE OF THE VISOR you will easily be able to remove the film and expose a crystal clear visor.

Safety first! Great for the home DIY - Garden Power Tools
This is my first experience with purchasing a helmet and ear protectors and although lot's of instructions were included I did find it an initial struggle to attach the inner head strap to the helmet... it was easy in the end (after I had attached it the wrong way and had to undo it).On that note I would suggest slightly better notes on attaching the inner head strap to the helmet (you have to fold the connectors and attach them on the fold). The visor would benefit from being molded to a curve, rather than flat and then bending to attach... it just appears a little too big for the helmet and towards the bottom loses it's curve/shape.The helmet is nice and strong, the ear defenders mute out the wife/power-tools so that's perfect ;-)You can rotate the ear defenders to the rear of the helmet when not in use and the same goes for the visor being able to lift up (could do with a ratchet or catch system to hold the visor up, otherwise it can fall down ~ did I mention the visor is big... you'll notice that more when it's up).Not a bad investment overall, but I'll do a little more in-shop research before I purchase another in the future.
