Planted October 4th. {today is October 8th} and already sprouting little leaves. I planted with Noble Giant spinach which has yet to sprout. I am using a 10.5x 10.5 container from a dollar store. The seeds are covered with a plastic bag to encourage germination before the real October weather hits and are being grown in zone 7 where big snows and cold are possible. No more over priced baby spinach/arugula buying for me. Not a lettuce lover so these greens are very good for a nice green salad.
