Boxie Gently Scented Cat Litter, 30-Day Odor Control, Clumping Clay, 16lb

First ever scented cat litter I can use without asthma or migraine issues! I can't really even smell much just faint fresh nature air accent. The cats aren't phased either. If you want heavy perfumed litter your cats will hate and you will love this is NOT your litter. Switched from unscented Boxiecat not because it doesn't cover smell of ammonia but because smell of litter after use has it's own smell. Two twelve pounds cats with a large litter box and about 1.5-2 inch deep of litter and the clumps 90% stay on top. Occasionally they get creative with digging, but still doesn't stick like other brands scooped at least every other day. It lasts way longer than regular scoopable litter too thus worth the price. Just add extra as needed and it's like new. Dust literally isn't an issue and I've never used better litter than this!

Works good, but had to replace clean the box faster than I normally do

After reading many reviews, I decided to try this litter because most people said that the lightly scented one worked best.I have been researching the easiest, less fuss litter box method. I considered the automatic ones and using this litter, but there seems to be issues with every single one.So, I purchased a covered corner box with a charcoal filter. Purchased pan liners and sifting bags, and the Boxicat waste bags and a small lift top waste bin. For me, the Boxicat liter works really, really well for this set up. I have back issues and cleaning the litter box is easy and quick. The litter does clump really well better than the arm & hammer brand. My cat urinates in the same spot and there’s a huge pee ball, and with the other brand it would stay a little mushy and break apart when scooped. This litter dehydrates the liquid waste and the odor is undetectable after a few minutes.I scoop 2x a day and dispose in the Boxicat bags and toss in the small bin next to the litter box. I empty it once a week and there’s literally no smell! At the end of the week I lift out the sift bag, add a little fresh litter, and repeat. I have a litter mat and I just vacuum bits of litter that my cat leaves, and it’s not nearly as much or messy as the other brand.I’m happy with this brand and it works well. Note, I’m a new cat mom but have had cats before, and I am a germaphobe and neat freak. I researched a lot before trying to find a system that would work for me and be safe for my cat. I recommend Boxicat litter and the Boxicat waste bags. They are a game changer! My cat is happy and I am happy.

Not as good as the “lightweight unscented “ and doesn’t disguise any odor well. Glad I did give it a try. ( and I do clean, scoop every day, have four boxes for two cats, so it isn’t an issue of neglect). There needs to be a “happy medium “ between the heavily perfumed litter and this brand as the ‘lightly scented’ is nearly no masking for odors - but does clump fairly well-but definitely not as well as the regular light Boxie litter

Boxiecat is always great with minimal mess to clean, great clumping action, and no smell at all. We have 3 cats in multiple litter boxes and do not ever smell a hint of cat litter box odor. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has cats. Much better than the traditional big box store litter.

Buy this if you don’t want your cat to track litter around the litter box! The scented and unscented versions are low dust, if any at all, and are now my favorite options for litter control. It clumps well.

I have purchased a few bags of the Boxie Cat litter. In my opinion, the best is the Boxie Pro. The worst is the BoxieCat litter in the green and white bag. They claim on the bag that the litter is "Premium" and "99.9% dust free". So untrue. I have had more dust with this litter than any other litter. Almost all of the claims on the front of the bag are a stretch and hardly true. The worst it the massive amount of dust that is created when cleaning the litter box. I almost have to wear a mask to clean the litter box as the dust is so prevalent. The closest I can compare it to is the No name brand Target cat litter and the Boots and Barkley (by Target) . It is horrible and I will not purchase it again. Longevity and tracking are also an issue. Searching for a better brand all together that doesn't break the bank.
