ClarksMen's Shacre Boot Ankle

I now have three pairs of this boot and love them all. My favorite surprisingly is the black suede. I put them on and they felt like I'd hade them for forever. There was no break in period, no getting used to the feel of them. They felt instantly like they'd been in my closet for forever.Lets be honest, they aren't the prettiest boot. They are kind of ugly. But, they are pretty versatile and look great with business casual at the office and more casual day wear.This portion of the review is specific to the black suede. The height of the sole means I'm not super concerned with getting them too wet and have been wearing them in the spring here in Alaska, so lots of mud and snow, and puddles and have seen not sign of water damage to them. So I'm not even thinking I'll waterproof them. May live to regret that, but we'll see.The black suede is deep and rich and is so soft to the touch. So far, I've been able to brush off any dirt or anything I've gotten on them.I ordered a 13 wide and it is a very spacious wide fit. I don't think you'll necessarily need to size down or anything, but if you run squarely between a wide and a regular width you might want to get a regular and see how those fit.I ordered several other colors and materials and these are the most comfortable right out of the box, the brown waxed had a break in period, the tan suede will also need a little breaking in time, and the black waxed I ordered were like a regular width when I ordered a wide width.

I have had a couple of other pairs of these over the years. Great shoes, but I was buying them fairly snug. My last pair was a 9 1/2 medium. Seems like all my shoes have started to feel tight across my high arches and the balls of my feet. Not sure if my feet changed, ( I know my circulation is not as good as when I was 60) but I decided I needed shoes that were looser in those areas. The new ones are 10 Wides, and they feel great! Good room from the arch forward, but the way these only lace near the top, I can snug them down around my ankles and my heels don't lift when I walk. They look great, exactly like the picture. The leather (beeswax) is heavy enough yet flexible, and the quality seems as good as the old ones. The soles may even be a bit firmer and tougher, which is good too.Sure happy at this point. I may update the review when I put some miles on them.

Took a risk getting this, now I'm going to get all different types that they have.It fits perfectly and the size is exact. The shoes are made of high quality material and it cleans easily with a piece of cloth and water. I love the design of it and it's worth every cent that I paid for it.

Lovely shoes I normally wear 8.5 us but I got a 9 us. It fit with a little place but ok. For me I just like wearing Clark's closely fitted. But it was nice.

If it says Clark’s then you got the right shoe. You can wear these shoes when you’re casual or just out and about. If you’re looking for a good quality shoe with a retro look I recommend these for sure.

Worth the money. I ended up buying 2 more pairs for my sons for Christmas and they love them. They are well made and true to size

I purchased a pair of Clarks Men's Shacre Ankle Boots ( Walabee Boots) about ten weeks ago. I have been extremely pleased with my purchase! They are light, comfortable, and they look good to my eye. My wife likes them as well.One reviewer said the crepe soles wore out in a few weeks. Mine are 10 weeks old and show NO WEAR at all. I truly love these Walabee Boots!!! I wear these all day long every day. I have flat feet and have to be very particular about my shoes, often adding expensive insoles to achieve comfort. No add-ons required with these. perfect out of the Box. - Paul

My husband loves these shoes and they last a very long time. I have had to get the toes re-sewn after several years of wear, the soles never wear out. They are easy to clean and the color goes with everything.
