Amazing. Saved my dog from diarrhea and gas!
Amazing. We rescued a dog in April 27th. He had diarrhea and gas, which is normal, for the first 9 days.We took him to the vet, got a broad spectrum antibiotic and some medicine to soothe his stomach. Diarrhea and gas continued.Every single poop of every day. We changed dog food brands to the one he was on with his foster family, assuming he might have a problem with one of the ingredients. None of these are cheap brands. Diarrhea and gas continued.Desperate, I began searching for some enzymes that were safe for dogs. I found there were several probiotics marketed for dogs. I researched the top few choices. He started this product on the evening of 6/5/2019. On 6/6/2019, he had moderately solid poop. On 6/7/2019, he pooped twice more, both pretty solid and we noticed he wasn't farting much. Instead of 20+ times, it was about 2 per day. By 6/9/2019, his poop was like our other two dogs. This was the only change in his diet or environment. The problem had existed for over 30 days straight, every single poop. Every one. We walk him twice a day, we see each poop.Within 24 hours of starting this, his symptoms were dramatically improved. In 72 hours, they were gone. Why does it work? The probiotics are digesting whichever parts of the food he couldn't handle. I'm lactose intolerant and rely on a probiotic to digest lactose. This is the same thing. If your dog is having diarrhea and gas, he probably has an intolerance. You can pay several hundred for a test that is less than perfectly accurate and then try to find an appropriate food, or just give him this powder. Since this breaks down the molecules he can't digest, it ends the issue. One reason we picked this product was the abundance of different probiotics. It targets a huge array of potential problems in dog food. We still don't know which ingredient he couldn't have before, but he can have it now. The second reason we picked this product was the reviews mentioning the level of customer service. This is how a small company should handle things. See some of the most helpful reviews for the steps the company took to ensure they satisfied each customer. This product deserves more than 5 stars. I will be purchasing it again each time we get low. The serving spoon is very small, it didn't take much powder and the dog didn't mind. The one container seems like it will last around 3 to 5 months. 58 pound dog, pretty active. When measuring that as a monthly cost, this is a very affordable solution that solved our dog's issue 100%.Note: Purina is a hell no, since they can feed euthanized pets as an ingredient (Google it, seriously, I didn't believe at first). This product is vastly cheaper (similar price but this will last several times longer) and you'll be supporting a better company. The Purina product is pushed by vets because many vets sell it, hardly an unbiased view.UPDATE 11/2/2019: We attempted to switch to another food, thinking he could handle it with his probiotic. He could not. The gas gradually returned. We tried a few different foods with no success. He is now eating the food he did best with, but is back to massive farting. I am planning to take him into the vet. Unless the product changed, it would appear he needs a two part solution. There is something else to fix, but the probiotic appears to be a necessary part of the solution.

Has worked for our dogs - UPDATE
1-1-2019 - I wanted to share an experiment we did with this product with the one dog of ours that delved into coprophagia (consumption of feces). Earlier in 2018, we were running low on this product and decided to try to wean both dogs off of it (see original review below for why they were put on it). We saw no change in their digestion for a couple weeks. Then, sometime into the 3rd week, we noticed poo-eating from the one dog that had suffered (well, WE suffered from him having it; he seemed to love it), starting up his disgusting habit again. Back they both went on it. I can not state definitively that this would work with other dogs who have this habit, but it have worked for this particular dog. They'll both stay on this for life.ORIGINAL REVIEWSo, I originally purchased this for one of our dogs due to his shedding - there had been one or two reviews that stated their dog was shedding less after using this product. We have a shepherd mix that's a heavy shedder - virtually everyday is vacuum day with him in the house. Well, it didn't solve that problem for us - but - it did solve another problem; namely, gassiness, bloating, and unbelievably foul wind for both dogs at times. This has been a problem since we adopted them and changing their food had brought some relief but didn't eliminate it entirely. Since putting both our dogs on this, the gas/wind has nearly disappeared (our Dobie still "sings" to us from the other end occasionally, but its greatly decreased - and there's no odor!); we'd also been working with the shepherd mix on a bit of leftover puppy coprophagia, and that has since stopped completely since adding this product to his food. Given the size of our dogs (Dobie is about 80 lbs; shepherd mix is about 55 lbs.), the standard dosage is 2 scoops (included in container) per dog per meal (2X a day). One container would last us about a month. I've since cut the dosage back slowly until now we're just at one scoop per dog per meal and I can state that there has been no deterioration in the product's effectiveness. This is important to us as additives such as probiotics, etc., tend to be expensive to use over a long time (which is why I think so many people stop using them). So now I can stretch this over nearly two months and not break my budget (considering other monthly pet expenses such as flea/tick treatments, heartworm treatments, food, treats, yearly vet visits and such). Its difficult to judge products such as this definitively - reviews such as mine are clearly anecdotal. But I wouldn't do a review such as this if I wasn't reasonably sure that the product had some effect (positive or negative) on our dogs. But be aware that what works for my dog may not work for yours.
