Yes and no. If you are plugging into a wall socket, yes. It will keep itself peak charged and maintains itself perfectly. If you are charging using DC power, then no. You can easily cook the battery, so I used an inverter to charge using ac plug while on the road.

Yes, it should come with 3 additional tips

Once the unit is fully charged we recommend you unplug the unit. Please ensure you charge your unit once a month overnight
