The product came in today, the wooden case that it came in had a broken lock piece and the hinges on the back of the box was also broken.However the straight edge was in great quality and used for the first time and it performed great.Definitely buy it the straight edge, the quality of the wooden box on delivery is questionable.

It is nicely made but uses razor inserts, making it not vintage style and also that it does not have a razor sharp edge, like it says in the description, due to the fact that it does not have an edge.

When the wood gets wet it may stain paint. It's a razor so it's obviously going to get wet, then when you put it in your medicine cabinet it will stain the shelves if they are painted wood (as opposed to glass or enamel). I imagine it would stain a cloth dop kit and anything else.If it didn't stain I'd give it five stars.

(Gold) Overall, its an okay product. The "gold" is actually brass. I know this for a fact because it smells exactly like my trumpet when I play it. The gold is faded almost as if it oxidized or rusted. It works when you shave, but for the quality its bad. Don't be thrown off by the casing. It honestly seemed like a cheap knockoff chinese product. I am asian btw so I know.

I got this for my boyfriend, it's nice and I got the extra razor blades to go with it, it's a good begnier one, he likes it even me to clean up the stray hairs by my eyebrows
