These are like the crib notes of survival. There is lots of info. Much of it is common sense but also helpful hints. In the end, I think it’s better to have “common sense” on hand because it can fly out of the head in times of stress. Also, such survival information can lend a sense of security in addition to providing reading material that is informative, can halt silly stress arguments, and can occupy the mind to reduce the stress of waiting periods.It would be great if these were waterproof and stronger, but I think that’s asking a lot. If I decide to include these in the go bags I’m gifting, I have found small dry containers with lanyards that will contain them.Overall, I find them expensive but also to have value.
