The photos were absolutely wonderful. And the book focused on exactly the knives that I am interested in. It's fascinating to see the developmental changes benches in particular models over the years. And these changes are well documented. There are also separate sections for groups of similar knives vividly displaying the variations in these handmade products and a very Useful section on sheets and their various makers. All in all this was exactly the book I was hoping it would be. This wouldn't be my only Randall Made reference book. I think Gaddis is essential to a complete understanding of the overall topic. My favorite knife has been many since in service. I like Randal better than any knife I used in service. Bettter than my Ft Bragg issue bayonet. I bought Randall Knife my favorite I have my own Randal for years nice magazine

Very sad copy !

I am awaiting the arrival of my Randall Knives Raymond Thorp Custom Bowie. These weapons are made on order at the request of the Buyer and are Heirloom quality like my Colt Single Action Army and my Smith & Wesson M22 model of 1917. This book fits in well with the Quality and lore of American weapons.

I opted to purchase the soft bound edition as the price was very reasonable - what a mistake. Pictures of the knives look like they were ran off on a second rate copier, "extremely poor quality". Don't know how the hard bound version compares but this soft-bound book is a very very poor example of what should have been a decent book. I'm very sorry to have bought it. Don't waste your money on this book.

Randall Knives are very collectible and go up in value. This is a great resource for value and everything else you should know about Randall Knives

This book is for those among us who were born to the sword, the hunt, or both. It is not a book giving historical data on the subject but an examination and tribute to the intrinsic beauty of the early Randall Made knives. In this regard, it is without peer.
