With several cooks in the kitchen cooking various food with different schedules, this item is a must-have. No longer spend valuable time cleaning only to have it be sullied minutes (or hours) later by someone else's cooking splatters or boil-overs.These fit over small and medium gas burners. I had to cut slits for them to fit over our 2 larger burners, but they're thin, so you can cut several at a time with kitchen shears (bonus: sharpens the shears in the process). Slip them into place, replace the grates & go on with your life. They're thin, so if your plan is to wash and re-use, you can do that, but they'll almost certainly bend and wrinkle if you do. It might be possible to wash them in the top rack of the dishwasher, but I haven't tried. They're inexpensive enough, though I don't think that'd be worth the time, effort or energy/water usage. I've had mine in place for only two days so far. With our normal-to-higher than avg cooking activity, they're still looking fine for day 3.Once in place, there are gaps between them of approx 1/2 inch on a 36" cooktop, but most of the mess occurs closer to the center of the burner anyway, so it doesn't bother me that they aren't an exact fit.Are they the most attractive things you'll ever see on the cooktop? No, but neither is a dirty grease-spattered cooktop that you haven't gotten around to cleaning yet.One final tip: they'd also work to put under a pie plate in the oven to prevent bubbe over messes: Use either directly on the rack, or put it on a cookie sheet and place the pie plate over it in the center (the plate covers the hole).I plan to keep my spares standing up in a napkin holder under the cooktop for easy access. A stack of 100 is only around 1.5" (going from memory, so it could be more or less) thick. I could conceivably put 200 into a standard size napkin holder with room to spare.Excellent product.UPDATE: After several weeks, I still rate this a 5-star product and have no regrets purchasing. Avg time this lasts til need to change in a 3-meal-a-day cooking is about 5 days. But that's subject to individual tolerance. Cleaning has been minimized and I indeed have used less paper towels and cleaning product. That alone is worth 5 stars. SHORTCUT: I cut a stack of covers specifically for the larger burners so I don't have to cut a larger opening every time I need to replace it.

I'm the neat freak, and my significant other seems to over flow water boiling for pasta, etc, which splashes around the burners, along with crumbs, etc. Don't get me started! A friend turned me on to these to use on our gas stove! OMG! I change them about once a week or so, and it saves me from having to scrub stuck on muck from the stove top. I just recycle it, and grab a new one. Walah! My significant other lives to see another day, and the stove is much easier to maintain! I just press these down to shape them to our gas burners with my fingers, so there is no chance for anything getting under them. Like I said, these are relationship savers! These should be gifted to newlyweds! I can't live without these now! I highly recommend them!

I used to be able to buy them (not same brand) at local store but its been hard to find them lately so I ordered these on line. Delivery was fast. Read reviews prior to ordering some mentioned that they are on thin side, they are same thickness as I am used to dont see any need for them to be thicker as they do the job they are designed for. Good product for half the store price.It took almost 1.5 year's to use up my 100 ct. Pack just run out today and panicked as i havent had to scrub my stove or use any chemicals on it this long .so im back to order more.

I wish these had smaller holes. Having a variety would help. a couple of my burners are too small for the opening, thus I have about a 1/2 in gap around it. one burner fits perfectly. The other burner I had to make a bigger hole. Afterward is when I thought about using the burner top as a measure. The package comes with plenty, so when I replace it I'll do a better job cutting the one to size.

product cost is most important since they are a disposable item

As a single guy I admit I'm not much of a housekeeper. One of my most dreaded tasks has been keeping the stove top clean. Until now. The worst part was keeping the area around the burners clean because of the built up crud that gets burned on. Now I just remove these handy covers and give the whole stove a few quick wipes then drop on the fresh covers. They keep the worst of the mess from accumulating around the burners, and not only make the stove look more presentable, but I think it looks good. Dang good. I'll be ordering more shortly.

I have frequently purchased these disposable liners. They are good and serve the purpose. I never thought to actually count them until I received this order today. There were only 90 liners in the package, but I paid for 100 liners. Make sure you count them.

I usually had to go to the hardware store to purchase the burner covers but I thought I'd see if Amazon offered them and they did (no surprise there). When bought at the store, I would get a pack of only 10. These came in a quantity of 100 and work extremely well. They hold up better than the store bought ones.
