Carb works great and is easy to install
Best purchase ever! I've constantly struggled with the original carb on my TTR-125L, with hard-starting, long warm up times, etc. It seems I had to pull the bowl off every time I wanted to use the bike and soak it in carb cleaner, as well as use starter fluid.Well this carb is a dream. I put it in, turned on the gas, and the bike started up right away. Always with one gentle kick. Moreover, the idle control is something you can turn with your fingers, you don't even need a screwdriver. The carb was a drop in replacement. I did struggle a bit to figure out how to compress the spring when installing the throttle cable, and I ended up using a couple plastic cables ties to hold the spring compressed, as I didn't have an extra pair of hands. I also had to use a razor blade and remove a bit of rubber/plastic that was sticking out of the input tube, to get it to seat fully against the carb. All in all, it was a pretty easy swap.I only wished I did this years ago!

Not plug and play
Junk unless they would send the right needles and jets.i got the bottom end amazing but never could fix past half throttle stock carb sucks but atleast my kid can ride the bike.if you say plug and play it should be and im in california the easyest place to jet dirt bikes.

Comes way too rich
I'm at sea level in California. While the carb worked just fine out of the box, it caused the spark plug to get very black. I've got the fmf core4 exhaust, with an air box mod and filter mod and had to drop down to the 17.5 pilot jet and up the main to 130 size. My needle clip is second down from the top. The bike is about 90% spot on, and now and I can blip the throttle like them 2 stroke boys do without any bog. No need to use the choke and the bike starts on the first kick and idles and purrs like a kitten. My air/fuel mixture screw is 1 full turn out from all the way in and my idle is about 650 rpm, right where it needs to be.A lot of work and trial and error for such an expensive "pre jetted" carb is why it only gets a 3 star from me. If it was less work, they would have got a 5 star.

Easy swap
This carb works very well on my 2003 Yamaha TTR-125, cranked on the second kick! Bike runs fast and carb is very responsive. This carb is better than the OEM carb!

Fits Perfect, Jetting is Spot On for TTR-125LE
Purchased this for a 2006 TTR-125LE as a replacement for a replacement. The factory carb had a seized choke slider, so I initially purchased a "mikuni" from a popular auction site. Turns out that carb was a Chinese knock off and you can't re-jet it. Seeing the 2 side by side, the difference in quality is clear, this is a far better carb. The installation process took all of 15 minutes, most of which was keeping the spring compressed while installing the cable. Once that was done, I tightened down the 2 clamps, and connected the fuel line. Starting was easy, it fired up (with the choke on) in seconds. Note, the choke is on the side of the carb, and you won't be able to use the existing choke knob up near the handlebars. The jetting feels perfect (1,200 feet elevation), no issues wide open throttle. Still need to adjust the idle, but otherwise I am very pleased with my purchase. Also, the carb came with a few extra jets.

Don’t waste your money. It’s trash
I would give this zero stars if I could.Junk here is whyThe carburetor is too small length wise for the air intake boots. The choke hits the frame. Good luck choking it.The fuel line kinks due to the way the fuel spout is located.

PRE-JETTED TOO RICH
'03 TTR125LE, pod filter down near sea level in South TexasPRO:- good quality- easy to installCONS:- jetted too rich- choke knob too small; difficult to reach and operate under the frame with gloved handExplantion:Carb does not work well out of the box, it is too rich and fouls spark plug with black soot. Can't ride the bike very long before it dies and won't start again (It didn't make it through a Saturday dirt bike class). I bought a full set of Mains and Pilots to try and get this running right. I found 17.5 Pilot/105 Main/Air Screw 1 turn out and clip on needle in 3rd slot will allow the bike to start and run without fouling the plug. Edited: Dropped to a 15 Pilot /105 Main / Air Screw at 1.5 out and clip in need in 4th from the top slot. In addition I switched out the 3/16" stock fuel line and filter with a 1/4" line and filter to keep the carb supplied with fuel. This prejetted carb gets 2 stars from me. It is nowhere near close to working correctly out of the box. It needs a complete retune. A full set of Main and Pilot jets should come with this carb for the cost.

Used on a 05 Yamaha TTR 125
Have to drill the slide valve cap larger to accommodate the factory throttle cable elbow. Remove your air box cover to increase the volume of air. Use an aftermarket exhaust like FMF or completely remove the spark arrestor to allow more exhaust flow on the factory exhaust. Idle speed will need to be adjusted. Follow these steps and your TTR 125 will run like a beast. This is an excellent carburetor! I'm a Master mechanic and a garage owner. Your TTR will run too Rich if you do not follow these steps. I highly recommend this carburetor to replace the very faulty stock TTR 125 carburetor.
